Jacquemus‘ Spring/Summer 2018 collection featured a simple, earthy palette with pops of color throughout.
The collection was based on simple tailoring, with draping and symmetry being used to create eye-catching silhouettes. The limited color palette gave the show a soft, organic feel, and thin fabric like organza and linen dominated the runway. Simon Porte Jacquemus put emphasis on accessories, including over-size sun hats in straw, miniature handbags and colorful, geometrical earrings. The clothes in the collection had an element of simplicity that was contrasted by the eye-catching accessories, and created a perfect balance.
