Liverpool FC’s long and storied history has been celebrated with a special capsule collection to mark 125 years since the famous football club was founded. New Balance — the team’s official kit manufacturer — has worked with the club to produce a capsule of blacked-out apparel pieces for the aptly titled “Pitch Black” collection.
The collection itself contains a range of T-shirts, one of which features a graphic image of the club’s Anfield home, while the other comes with a zip pocket on the chest. Other pieces in the capsule include a pair of track pants, a water resistant pull over and, the standout piece, a blacked-out version of Liverpool FC’s home jersey.
All of the pieces are available now from Liverpool’s web store as well as New Balance’s online store. For more soccer kits, check out the slew of third kits recently released by Nike for some of Europe’s biggest teams.

For all those Nike Air More Uptempo fans out there, this couch is for you. Created by Aesthete Society for its Common Thread gallery show at Portland Sneaker Week, the classic Nike silhouette, designed by Wilson Smith and debuting back in 1996, has now becoming a living room necessity. Featured in all-black, the sofa sees a jumbo “AIR” text in white branded onto the pillows, while the front is adorned with faux Air units. The couch is then finished off with Nike’s iconic Swoosh.

Seemingly unfazed at having its #2 U.S. sports footwear spot taken by adidas, Jordan Brand continues its run of Trunner revamps — this time coming in a “Triple Black” edition. The Trunner LX High is the sleekest update yet, with the colorway calming down some of the more OTT overtures of the shoe. Palette aside, however, the main point of difference in this shoe is the ultra-streamlined neoprene section that’s used on the ankle collar.
If that’s caught your attention, you’ll want to know that the Jordan Trunner LX High “Triple Black” costs $130 USD and is available from Oneness. It’s also been a busy period for releases of the Trunner in general, with a QuickStrike edition of the Trunner LX High NRG having surfaced just yesterday.
