Nike‘s latest retro-inspired model of focus, the Air Vortex, made its first debut this season in a fresh “Mushroom” colorway. This time, the classic silhouette takes on a new “Dark Atomic Teal” theme, which offers an inky tricolor look perfect for the stealthier fall days.
This rendition of the Air Vortex boasts a premium suede and mesh teal upper, black leather at the Swoosh, a vivid swatch of magenta at the heel counter and a midnight grey midsole to complete the color theme. A waffle outsole stays true to the OG look, while black accents at the collar, tongue tab and heel tab highlight the design blueprint.
You can purchase the Nike Air Vortex “Dark Atomic Teal” for $110 USD at Titolo now. For more stealthy footwear options, check out the Nike KMTR Premium in “Obsidian.”
Fresh off the press circus that is NBA media day, Jordan Brand ambassador Russell Westbrook took the event as an opportunity to unleash the new Air Jordan 32 “Creamsicle.” Previously unveiled in the “Rosso Corsa” colorway, the new design, too, sports a red-hued tint, however, goes on to feature hits of “Royal Blue” placed all throughout.
The base takes on a core Flyknit-constructed upper with leather detailing found on the heel and ankle areas. The metallic silver Wings logo landing on the tongue rounds out the new rendition. Release details remain unclear, however, we can expect to see the reigning MVP in these new iterations come the start of the season.

Back in June, John Elliot and Nike excited everyone with their new Vandal collaboration — dropping in two primary colorways. Now, with fall just around the corner, we thought we’d take an on-feet look at one of the two upcoming premium John Elliott x Nike Vandal Highs dropping in October — the “Anthracite” colorway. This timeless basketball silhouette has received a faded revamp featuring a smooth suede upper with a complementary leather tongue that includes emblazoned branding on the ankle strap and heels. A clean white rubber sole caps off the two-tone look.
Keep your eyes peeled for this new colorway, which is slated to release on October 1 in select Swoosh retailers and online at Nike’s web store.
In other Nike news, the Nike Air Vortex has just been decked out in “Dark Atomic Teal.”
Back in the early ’80s Nike‘s Air Force 1 model made its debut. During that time the Swoosh wasn’t too confident in the sneaker’s future, but Baltimore’s AF1 enthusiast helped keep the model alive which would eventually lead to more iterations being produced. As a homage to the city of Baltimore, Nike has cooked up a commemorative edition of its Special Field Air Force 1 Mid.
The “For Baltimore” version boasts a nostalgic gum sole unit with “B’More” embroidery found on its strap. The year ’84 is also embroidered on its lateral side and placed on its hangtag as well. Housing the sneaker will be a box with illustrations from artist Ed Piskor highlighting notable names who helped increase the popularity of the AF1.
Launching on September 30, Nike’s SF AF-1 Mid “For Baltimore” will be exclusively available via Downtown Locker Room’s Mondawin Mall and Monument Street locations in Baltimore.
So far, we’ve only caught a glimpse of one version of Nike‘s slip-on Air Max 97 Ultra re-work: a clean “Triple Black” pair that surfaced back at the beginning of September. However, there’s a least one other colorway of the design on the way as an autumnal “Sequoia” look has seen the light of day. Perfect for the fall ahead, the kicks offer up a predominately olive green upper of leather and suede and pair the green look with a contrasting tan suede mudguard.
Though an exact release date for the sneakers remains unknown, expect the Air Max 97 Ultra “Sequoia” to hit shelves soon at your local Nike Sportswear spot.
