New Balance is showing some love to one of its newer silhouettes with the release of three knit constructed colorways for the MRL 247. The breathable material is used for the majority of the sneaker’s upper and is paired with a suede overlay in the middle of the body. Each shoe sees a unique combination of colors with three different shades appearing on each individual model. The first look sees a dark brown used for the forefoot while a lighter brown takes up the overlay and a dark blue towards the heel. The same color pattern is continued throughout the pack, with the second model seeing a grey, purple and black look. The third rocks a black, green and light blue pattern.
The entire New Balance Knit MRL 247 pack is available now at select New Balance retailers such as Afew for $155 USD. Scroll through all three colorways above and let us know in the comments which one you like best.
Following a number of teasers, a special friends and family “USA” edition of the Air Maestro, and even an appearance by the NBA legend himself in the KITH Sport Spring/Summer 2018 runway show, Ronnie Fieg has officially unveiled KITH‘s Scottie Pippen-centric collaboration with Nike. Revealed on Instagram by way of some retro-inspired ads, the range includes two renditions of the Air Maestro alongside “Chimera” and “Black Pony” takes on the original Air Pippen. Naturally, premium materials are the name of the game throughout while special KITH co-branding hits each shoe.
Diadora has teamed up with longtime close collaborator and high-end sneaker retailer LimitEDitions for a new premium partnership.
Rejuvenating the retro-running styles of the previous era, Diadora and LimitEDitions serve up the N.9000 “Correfocs.” Inspired by a style of medieval street theater known as “Ball de Diables,” the N.9000 Correfocs symbolizes the age-old struggle between the forces of good and evil. Literally translating to “fire runs,” Correfocs stands for the Catalan cultural tradition of new energy and societal rebirth after centuries of suppression.
In modern times, Correfocs are celebrations that occur during Barcelona, Spain’s September La Merce festival. To celebrate those festivities and the energy that brings them to life, LimitEDitions and Diadora have created this sneaker.
Outfitted with goat leather, kangaroo leather, wolverine suede and more premium materials, the LimitEDitions and Diadora N.9000 “Correfocs” is available for viewing above and its promotional vignette can be checked out below — the item will be available in-store and online this Saturday, September 23.
Previously, Diadora presented a “Warm Sand” iteration of the V.7000 “Alpini.”
