adidas has officially announced the return of the YEEZY BOOST 700 – an ideal chance for those who missed out the first time around. Originally launched back in November via pre-order on YEEZY SUPPLY, Kanye West‘s first crack at his take on the “dad shoe” will make a highly-anticipated comeback. The colorway is comprised of Multi Solid Grey/Chalk White/Core Black as the upper welcomes grey and black suede overlays in addition to blue mesh underlays and premium leather. The final touch is found in the reflective heel and Three Stripe branding.
The adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 will return on March 10 for $300 USD on adidas.com/YEEZY in the U.S. only and via YEEZY SUPPLY.
Back in January, we shared that the drop for Kanye West‘s “Core Black” YEEZY Powerphase would be delayed. Its initial debut was expected in December of 2017 but word has emerged in regards to a new release date.

Kanye West was recently seen stepping out into town rocking a new pair of YEEZY BOOST 700 Wave Runners in a mostly purple rendition. Now thanks to famed sneaker insiders Yeezy Mafia, we have a look into what YEEZY Season 7 has to offer. Unlike the OG pair featured in a light grey upper with hits of green and orange, this model rocks a stealthy black and dark grey make; a more intense overall look than what fans are used to. Three Stripes branding and hits of neon yellow on the midsole rounds up the sneaker’s look.
So far no further information or specific release date on these adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 Wave Runners, but expect them to drop in fall of 2018.

Earlier last month, images of the adidas Yung 1 sneaker began to surface around the internet, boasting adidas’s Falcon Dorf upper from the late ’90s, but with a newly revamped sole. Today, senior director of concept at adidas originals, Till Jagla, took to Instagram to confirm the new sneaker and provide a bit of background on its history.
“The most interesting learning for me was that all the shoes the brand has created in the late 90’s / early 000’s represent the collective memory for the younger (than me, born in 1980) generation of sneaker heads. So this means these kinda quirky shoes is way more than a trend. This world is the archive for an entire generation,” says Jagla on the late ’90s ethos.
