Last hitting our pages rocking a vibrant “South Beach”-themed colorway option, Nike’s classic Air Huarache model has since surfaced in a bold “Tour Yellow” color scheme. Splashes of both “Anthracite” and black help break up the signature tonal palette, with subtle hits peeking out from the inner lining, tongue, side panel area, not to mention the branded heel counter. A clean white foam-enhanced midsole adds more tonal contrast, while providing functional traction control and optimal user comfort.
Although price and release date still has yet to be confirmed, you can expect the Nike Air Huarache “Tour Yellow” to hit select retailers in the near future.
Looking to expand its retro-inspired footwear models, Jordan Brand is reportedly set to release a low version of its Air Jordan 7 silhouette.
In preparation for the official release, we recently received a first look at the Air Jordan 7 Low which originally surfaced as a sample in 2008. The first look reveals the sleek lowered tooling while highlighting the color blocking possibilities of the paneled upper and sole unit. Coming just in time for summer, the model will debut in retro “Bordeaux,” “Concord” and “Taxi” looks.
No official pricing details just yet, but the Air Jordan 7 Low is set to launch in the three colorways at select retailers come July.
Following months of teasers, we are finally nearing the release of the next chapter of Virgil Abloh‘s Nike collaboration. Releasing at the end of this month is the black iteration of the Virgil reworked Air VaporMax released with “THE TEN.”
A new closer look reveals that the sequel features the same deconstructed look we saw last year, but this time around the Swoosh on the shoe is also done in black. Sitting on a translucent VaporMax unit, the black Swoosh accents the matching black Flyknit upper with a must-have red zip-tie and industrial-inspired branding on each medial side. Additionally, the upcoming release will come with a set of blue laces and an inverted Nike Sportswear box.
Priced at $250 USD, the black Virgil Abloh x Nike Air VaporMax is set to release at a very limited set of retailers on March 30.
Jordan Brand‘s famed “Black Cat” theme will make its way to the Air Jordan 32. The upper is dipped in black as it rests atop a translucent outsole. On the heels you’ll find six circles paying homage to Michael Jordan‘s NBA Championships with the Chicago Bulls. Iridescent coloring is added to the tongue logos and Jumpman branding found on each lateral side and Breathable Flyknit fabric makes up the majority of the upper to close out the design.
Retailing for $185 USD, the Air Jordan 32 “Black Cat” will launch on April 7 at select Jordan Brand retailers and online.
After teasing the hand-painted sneakers last week, The Shoe Surgeon and Josh Vides drop their collaborative Nike Air Max 1 today. Offering the premium materials one would expect from a Shoe Surgeon custom, the Air Max offers a single-piece upper crafted from white python, with Japanese plonge — lamb — leather found in the sockliner. Vide elevates the silhouette with illustrative black lines painted by hand, creating a sneaker as playful as it is luxe.
The bespoke Air Max 1 can be had on The Shoe Surgeon’s site while the shirt is available on Reality-To-Idea’s web store.
