Nike‘s Air More Uptempo had a grand comeback last year with a slew of new colorways, amongst which was this black and white edition that nodded to Scottie Pippen‘s time with the Chicago Bulls. Almost exactly one year after its first launch, this Bulls-themed colorway is now slated for a 2018 rerelease.
This version of the retro court model boasts a white leather upper with high-contrast black “AIR” branding. Subtle touches of “Varsity Red” appear at the embroidered Swoosh branding at the toe, Scottie Pippen’s “PIP” logo at the heel counter, a giant Swoosh at the outsole, as well as mini Swooshes and visible Air bubble at the midsole.
The Nike Air More Uptempo Bulls-inspired colorway will be releasing on June 23 for a retail price of $160 USD at Nike’s web store and select retailers.
Artistically similar to the “Just Do It” pack, Nike is preparing to release a new rendition of its popular Air Max 97 model, this time spotlighting subtle Nike branding cues all throughout its mudguard area. Last seen rocking a Miami Hurricanes-themed color scheme, the new rendition comes dressed in heavy black from top to bottom with traces of “University Red” landing on the tongue and side Swooshes, as well as the heel pull tab.
The uppers feature a mix of leather and nylon, which sits snugly atop the Air-centric midsole and rubber outsole combo. Priced at ¥18,000 JPY (approximately $163 USD), you can find this Nike Air Max 97 now at such retailers as atmos. A stateside release has not yet been confirmed, so be sure to check back for updates.
Shortly after we shared a look at the first colorway of the returning Nike Air Max Deluxe, rumors have begun to circulate that the model will be the canvas for Skepta‘s next collaborative release. Back in March we discussed leaked news courtesy of @py_rates of the potential drop and today new photos have also surfaced, along with new colorways. The inaugural Black/Deep Red/Black iteration has been joined by two new choices: one sporting purple and additional neon colors, and a third version hosting the same color scheme as the Air Max 95 “Neon.”
At the moment Skepta and Nike have not confirmed if this is indeed the next collaboration in the pipeline, but they’re rumored for this month at $180 USD. Stay tuned for additional information and let us know if you’d cop once they hit retailers.
Back in August of 2017, Big Baller Brand shared LaMelo Ball‘s first signature sneaker, the Melo Ball 1. Over time we’ve seen the youngest Ball brother hit a late growth spurt while continuing to deliver highlight after highlight on the amateur circuit. Today, Big Baller Brand has officially released “Breast Cancer Awareness” and “Cotton Candy” iterations of the sneaker. The first mixes pink and black throughout, with the latter incorporating light blue and pink in a cloud-like print on its upper.
Both colorways are currently available online with prices ranging between $395 and $595 USD, depending on sizing.
Following May’s release of the adidas Crazy 1 ADV Sock Primeknit, the Three Stripes welcomes its preceeding Crazy 1 ADV iteration in “Core Black.” Its upper is comprised of knit and suede materials with subtle hints of multicolor throughout. The outsole is done in black to carry out the tonal look. For the final touch you’ll find adidas’s trefoil logo on the tongue to keep things simple.
adidas‘s Crazy 1 ADV “Core Black” arrives on June 26 for $140 USD at select adidas retailers and adidas.com. Browse the shots above and let us know if you plan on copping.
