A few days ago we shared a closer look at Don C‘s upcoming Jordan Legacy 312 collaboration. Today brings official release information and two additional colorways for its debut offering. With three colorways inspired by trainers of Nike‘s past, the Chicago native’s collab adds more flair to the offering with a “Volt”-based pair and a Royal/Cement edition.
Billed as his most personal collaboration with Jordan Brand to date, Don C says of the design:
I wanted the Jordan Legacy 312 to have the sole of the Jordan 3, because to me, that shoe is the foundation of the brand,” Don explains. “The 1s and the 2s were Nikes first. The 3s were Jordans. That’s when the brand became the brand. I’ve always felt that the foundation of the brand is the 3, but it was built on the 1 first.
Don C’s Jordan Legacy 312 is expected to launch on July 14 at select Jordan Brand retailers.
The Nike Air Max Deluxe has emerged once again in Midnight Navy/Laser Orange. The newest iteration follows its White/Photo Blue-Wolf Grey colorway that surfaced earlier this month. The upper features neoprene material with a mix of purple, light blue, yellow and gold accents throughout. The sole unit houses a full-length Air Max unit that also sports purple detailing. Nike branding is kept to a minimum with small Swoosh logos placed on the lateral sides, tongues and toeboxes.
Exclusive to women’s sizing, the Nike Air Max Deluxe OG Midnight Navy/Laser Orange is expected to launch sometime this summer at select Nike Sportswear retailers.
Lance Mountain and Nike have reconnected for another collaborative drop. The duo uses the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid this time around and dips it in “University Blue.” Suede coats the upper with white used for its sole unit and Swoosh branding. An embroidered rose logo is added to each heel with subtle hints of green behind the tongue.
Retailing for $85 USD, the Lance Mountain x Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid “University Blue” arrives on July 10 at select retailers such as Rock City Kicks.
The Nike Air Max 270 has received another look. One of the Swoosh’s most recent models has gained popularity thanks to its engineered mesh and Flyknit iterations. Now premium leather joins the material selection with perforated panels wrapped around the upper’s toebox and midfoot areas. Smooth leather and canvas are added around the ankle collar with a tumbled effect incorporated onto the heel. “Air” branding is added to each medial side with the large Air Max unit returning to the heel.
Nike‘s Air Max 270 Premium will soon launch in String/Desert Ochre-Neutral Olive-Desert and Black/Black-White colorway options. Browse the shots above and let us know which iteration you favor over the other.
After receiving an “Elemental Gold” rendition, Nike‘s Air Max 270 is set to release in another monochrome colorway of “Light Grey.” This neutral color scheme keeps it simple with a taupe grey mesh upper, a black heel panel, a white forefoot sole unit and a translucent black Air Max 270 heel. The usual Air Max 270 embossed detailing is seen throughout upper, while mini Swooshes in black add a touch of contrast.
This Nike Air Max 270 “Light Grey” colorway is currently a women’s exclusive and is set to launch in the near future for a price tag of $150 USD at Nike’s web store. Let us know if you’d like to see this colorway in men’s sizing and for something more old school, check out the Air Jordan 3 Retro “International Flight”.
