Adding to the celebratory campaign that’s currently shedding light on Porsche‘s 70th anniversary, Porsche Design has introduced a new timepiece known as the Chronotimer Rennsport Reunion VI.
A limited-edition offering, only 70 Porsche Chronotimer Rennsport Reunion VI watches will be manufactured — that’s one for each year the company is honoring. Concerning its construction, consumers can expect “high-tech titanium,” “black titanium carbide coating,” calf-leather straps, “red stitching made from original Porsche interiors” and more. The model is also being used to help promote the Rennsport Reunion VI event its title references; Porsche calls the Rennsport Reunion, “the world’s largest gathering of all generations of Porsche race cars and their drivers.”
“Porsche Rennsport Reunion VI is a must-see for anyone who loves great performance,” reads an official statement from Porsche Design. “This collector’s item, the third Reunion edition made by Porsche Design, is the official timepiece of this incomparable event.”
You can take a look at the new Porsche Chronotimer Rennsport Reunion VI above. The timepiece will be available for presale starting next week, and carries a price-tag of $6,800 USD.
Last fall, Porsche Design teamed up with Huawei for a sleek new smartphone.
