Configurable Art has worked alongside VHILS for an art piece that once again explores how technology can create and enhance art – this time around inspired by its “Build Your Own” concept.
Helmed by Felipe Pantone, the contemporary artist known for his combination of graffiti, kinetic design and use of bold color and glitch effects, Configurable Art and VHILS have released works which tap the Portuguese street artist’s graffiti aesthetic in a piece created from etched wood. VHILS, aka Alexandre Manuel Dias Farto, is known for his bas-relief carving technique and subsequent “Scratching the Surface” project. For the Configurable Art showcase, VHILS chisels his craft once again to deliver a number of abstract portrait sections.
Combining traditional graffiti-inspired laser and drill-etched pieces comprised of 15 unique sections, the special guest experience is active between April 8 and May 8, 2019 on the Configurable Art website. Allowing visitors to create their own piece inspired by the two world-renowned artists, you can build your own Configurable Art x VHILS artwork and create something truly one-of-a-kind.

INNERRAUM, brainchild of Kuboraum founders Sergio Eusebi and Livio Graziottin, have just dropped its lasted carrying option in the form of the Armored Unisex Cross Body Bag. At first glance, the carrying accessory looks unfamiliar, and unlike anything we’ve seen before, with its mixture of punk and industrial aesthetic. Panels of polyurethane “armor” cover the entire mesh compartments of the bag, and are held in place by gold-ring hardware.
Details include a push stud fastened flap, leather zip detailing, and a detachable cross body strap. This made-in-Italy bag can be found over at LN-CC for a price of €830 EUR (approximately $935 USD).
