STREETWEAR: Helmut Lang Announces First Drop of its "Re-Edition" Collection / LAD MUSICIAN’s 2017 Fall/Winter Campaign Delivers a New Age Grunge Aesthetic

 

In junction with the label’s revamp under the direction of editor-in-residence, Isabella Burley, Helmut Lang releases a re-edition of its most iconic pieces. Sourced from Lang’s extensive archive, the collection includes an assortment of unisex outerwear, denim and accessories that were originally released between 1997-2005.
New re-issues of the archive are set to drop every four months, but the collection’s first installment (featured above) will be available for purchase online and at select Helmut Lang retailers on September 8.

Japanese rock-inspired fashion label, LAD MUSICIAN, has introduced the fall/winter campaign for its 2017 collection. The wardrobes themselves are inspired by loose-fitting, early ’90s grunge pieces with dark plaid designs and bright, offsetting tones.
The imagery in the lookbook shows some somber moments in nature, albeit done in a stylish manner. Additionally, the video below presents the clothing in a whole new light as we see the drape and cuts in true action.
