Coming in four different colorways — including pink, white, black and wheat — the boots are lined with a cozy shearling collar, and are perfect for when the temperature begins to drop. The shoe also features the Opening Ceremony logo, and celebrates the anniversary of the Convenience Boot that has been an OC exclusive since 2009. It is clear that the pink colorway is the one to watch, it will add a pop of color in gloomy fall weather and will catch the attention of everyone on the streets.
The editorial stars four DJs of Opening Ceremony’s own underground movement, namely Kim Ann Foxman, Nicole Albino (Ni** Sky), Anthony Dicapua (Dicap) and Ashland Mines (Total Freedom), and focuses on the music and nightlife that has become a huge part of the Opening Ceremony brand DNA. The collaboration takes inspiration from the brands own presences in the underground scene and on the streets, expressing the genuine and unique feeling that is channeled in the shoe.
The shoes retail for $250 USD, and are now available online at Opening Ceremony.
Timberland‘s iconic 6″ Boot is back and better than ever this season as nonnative has taken the classic piece of rugged footwear and put its own spin on the design for Fall/Winter 2017. Intended to withstand the harshest weather conditions, the nonnative rework ditches the famed “Wheat” look of the original in favor of the Japanese outfit’s signature desert tan. The usual nubuck construction has also gone by the wayside in favor of long-grain suede while a quadruple stitch fabrication allows for dual-colored black and white seams throughout. Best of all, though, is the fact that the waterproof boots come with a Vibram sole unit and GORE-TEX lining, not to mention a trio of lacing options.
nonnative’s desert-inspired 6″ Boot is available now from COVERCHORD while supplies last.
