To ring in the New Year right, adidas Originals has just unveiled the new Stan Smith “Royal Pack” which pays tribute to the classic silhouette. The pack includes four new takes on the timeless model, which includes a simple white and simple black colorway crafted from tumbled leather, each with gold accents and a nude inner liner. The other two “Recon” versions in the pack include one white and one blue Stan Smith with subtle remastered detailing. Both “Recon” colorways will also be boxed in special packaging.
Look for the adidas Originals Stan Smith “Royal Pack” to hit adidas Originals retailers and online January, 15. In the meantime, check out this week’s hottest product drops.
Adding to its roster of sleek running sneakers, adidas Originals is set to debut a new silhouette for the new year. The NMD Racer, part of the forthcoming Urban Racing pack, is set to release alongside a trio of new NMD_R1 Primeknit colorways.
The NMD Racer blends recognizable NMD elements with progressive concepts, making for a natural evolution of the NMD sneaker. The upper is smoothed out, making for a profile even sleeker than the R1, recalling the trim UltraBOOST Uncaged. Primarily monochrome, a black Primeknit upper and white BOOST are offset with colorful accents that replace the blocky midsole detailing. Meanwhile, new NMD_R1 colorways utilize color contrasting STLT knit weaves undercut by solid-colored midsole stabilizers and pull tabs.
Look for the shoes to release on January 4. Meanwhile, adidasis readying a “Triple Black” UltraBOOST Laceless for a January launch.
Nike’s Air Force 1 and Foamposite silhouettes have enjoyed successful 2017 campaigns, each, having dropped in a barrage of bold colorways, material makeovers and imaginative themes. With that said, 2018 will see the reemergence of the often overlooked Air Force 1 Foamposite hybrid. Although around for years, the hoops/lifestyle mashup model has not graced our pages in quite some time, with each of its core models continuing to blaze their own respective trails.
Seen here in a hi-top version, the AF1 base is smothered by the signature hard-shell Foamposite material. A blue-tinged iridescent finish comprises the upper, which teams nicely alongside the contrasting black accents found on the upper quarter panel, laces, ankle strap, and midsole — creating a unique two-toned palette. This new version of the Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite will make its debut on January 6 at participating Nike carriers, however, for those looking to cop a pair prior to launch, a handful of pairs are now up for grabs on eBay.
In case you missed it, here is a look at the Nike Air Max 95 “Reverse Stash.”
NIKE’s Air VaporMax model, since first hitting the scene late last year, has injected a newfound energy into the Swoosh brand and is now heavily regarded as one of the brand’s most sought-after silhouettes. One of its latest reworks, known as the VaporMax 2.0, has surfaced in various colorway options over the last few weeks, with yet another design recently showing face. Here is our first look at the new version in dark grey.
The runner takes on a grey-toned Flyknit-constructed upper with contrasting hits of black found on the side and heel areas, while the trademark VaporMax sole unit sitting directly below ties the look together. Although no release details have yet been confirmed, be sure to check back for updates.
Keeping with Nike, the Air Force 1 Foamposite is set to make a comeback in 2018.
Earlier this month, Nike announced its next artist residency would be graffiti artist STASH to collaborate on his own version of this AF1’s. Now the brand is sharing a new colorway of the Air Max 95 dedicated to the creative, in the blue color palette he’s become known for. Making use of the same hues as the previous 2006 STASH colorway, this one differentiates itself by flipping the colors, and off-setting the look with a white sole.
No official release date has been shared yet, but word so far suggests these could be hitting shelves relatively soon into the new year. Check back for more details.
Adding to its series of Air Max 97 Ultra ‘17 colorways, Nike recently gave its updated Air Max model a clean “Pure Platinum” makeover. The silver and white-focused colorway features a synthetic overlay upper accented by matching laces and Swoosh branding found on the tongue and lateral area. While a full-length Air sole unit elevates the shoe and rounds up the design of the model. No official release notes just yet, but stay tuned for more details when they become available.
