Indian designer Vivek respects the brilliant history of the luxury manufacturer Rolls-Royce and imagines a three-axle specification concept of the carmaker’s Wraith model. The concept features four driven wheels on two axles, a conventional elongated wagon roofline, an upright Pantheon grille, and suicide rear doors. Unlike other six-wheeled productions, the front wheels would not be powered.

Although it’s highly speculated the concept will never go into production, this would be a great introduction to promote its interest in making more unique vehicles like the coach-built Sweptail introduced earlier last year, which sold for $13 million USD.

A 1991 Lamborghini Countach in near-mint condition has hit the RM Sotheby’s auction block and it’s a godsend for supercar collectors.

With just over 2,000 miles on the dash, this 25th-anniversary edition model could fetch upwards of $300,000 USD at the dealer’s annual automotive congregation in Paris this February 2018. The Lambo sports a sleek white paint job with the interior done up in bold red for contrast. When it comes to performance specs, the vehicle is capable of running over 183 miles per hour and hitting 0-62 in less than five seconds. Other attributes include a specialized steering wheel, power windows, and an A/C system. Conclusively, the car has only had three owners to its name.

1965 Jaguar D Type Red Auction Gooding
One of just two incredibly rare red 1956 Jaguar D-Type cars is hitting the auction block, and its sale has the potential to generate a jaw-dropping receipt.

Auctioned by Gooding & Company, this particular Jaguar D-Type has been owned by Led Zeppelin manager Peter Grant, renowned professional race drivers Peter Blond and Jean Bloxham, super-collector Roger Willbanks and other deep-pocketed, well-known figures. Bearing an estimated value of somewhere between $10,000,000 to $12,000,000 USD, the vehicle carries a “well-documented UK racing history” and a resume that boasts several high-profile media appearances, making it a celebrity in its own right.

You can take a look at the red 1956 Jaguar D-Type above, and head on over to Gooding’s official website for more information on the January auction. Besides this ride, Gooding’s January event will also star a 1965 Ferrari 965 275 GTB Speciale. Earlier this year, another high-stakes auction allowed Steve McQueen’s famed 917 to become the world’s most expensive Porsche.
