This season, Acne Studios‘s sleek Julian jodhpur boot returns with a thick crepe sole for maximum comfort and flexibility, making it yet another striking addition to the Swedish label’s expansive footwear collection.
Acne’s jodhpur leans conservative, with a slim profile accented with silver hardware and a contrasting stitched rubber welt. Both the suede and grain leather iterations are made in Italy, with everything from the buckled closure to the heel’s pull tab executed in tonal leather.
The Julian is available on END. in both Cuoio Brown and Mustard Yellow.
Fendi is definitely beginning the new year on a high note. Following the unveiling of the 2018 Calfskin Low-Tops and a luxurious sock-style mid-top, the luxury label unleashes a unique, new luxe high-top.
Adorned with the signature Zucca print, the new Fendi High-Top features a velvet grip-strap, branded tongue, “textured rubber outsole” and polyester and viscose lining. Crafted using premium leather, the Italian-made Fendi Zucca Grip-Strap High-Top Sneaker has features for function and form; the branded grip-strap appeals to contemporary sensibilities as well.
You can take a look at the new Fendi Zucca Grip-Strap High-Top Sneaker above, while the shoe is retailing for $950 USD at Bergdorf Goodman.
Providing a break from the logo-manic industry following a subtle Spring/Summer collection, Fendi prepares for warmer weather coming through with classic low-tops.
Made from calfskin leather, the sneakers get reptile appliqué treatments — a trending motif for footwear embellishments. The black colorway sees emerald heel tabs followed by blue shaped iconic Bag Bugs eye patch with a metal stud. A black tongue with metallic logo work and white midsole completes the shoe. The white rendition offers the same look but with black heel tabs and an oxblood tongue. Both are finished with a padded interior in Fendi’s signature tan color.
You can pre-order the leather low-top sneakers now on Fendi.com for $900 USD. In related news, the Italian label also recently dropped a knited sock-style kick.
Nike may have kicked off a pair of trends when it debuted the Air VaporMax Moc and oversized logo Air Max Plus earlier this year. Now, Givenchy has introduced a pair of sneakers boasting large branding and midfoot straps.
A runner and tennis sneaker silhouette each sacrifice laces for black elastic straps bearing Givenchy’s name. Both also feature painted gold branding on the heel as well as leather knot detailing. The running shoe adds extra visual interest in the form of embossed dots on the midsole and an orange tongue tag, while its minimalist, all-white peer keeps it simple.
Both sneakers are available on the fashion house’s website, with the court sneaker retailing for $595 USD and the runner for $735 USD. In related news, logomania was one of our top 10 trends of 2017.
It appears as though Timberland is not quite ready to close out the year — offering another variation of its iconic 6” Boot. Just last week we took a look at the 640 Below 6″ Boot In “Black Highway,” however, we now turn our attention to a premium iteration in “White Serpent.” The new version sees a reptilian leather makeover swarm the entire upper, while accenting red eyelets and green-hued laces provide subtle pops of color. With more collaborative projects and upscale reworks of the famed boot continuously hitting the market, Timberland is finding creative means to penetrate more lifestyle-minded shoppers.
The Timberland 6″ Premium Boot “White Serpent will make its debut on December 27 online and at select stockists. In other footwear news, the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” could be released for the 2018 holiday season.
