Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “6 Ring" Bred Toe Game Royal Art Basel Rick Owens
With apparent release dates for the Air Jordan 1 “Bred Toe” and “Game Royal” having already leaked in 2018, it seems that another member of the Nike Air Jordan 1 family is now getting its moment in the spotlight. Like many of its sibling silhouettes, the Retro High OG “6 Rings” comes in a bold red, black and white colorway, with the added extra of the “black toe” also seen in the “Art Basel” pack.

While there’s no official release information detailed as yet, all signs point to an early 2018 release — so keep checking back for updates. And, in the meantime, why not take a look at something a little more off-piste — Rick Owens and Birkenstock’s freshly-announced collaboration.

With the release date for his “DON’T TRIP” Cortez “Kenny” collaboration with Nike fast approaching, Kendrick Lamar has now given another take on the collaborative sneaker. Stepping out for his performance at the 2018 NCAA College Football National Championship, Lamar was wearing a previously-unseen take on the Cortez silhouette, which Nike described as “a tribute to his album DAMN.“ in an Instagram post.

DAMN. is celebrated through contrasting red embroidery of the album’s title along the sneaker’s lateral side, as well as custom Nike branding on the tongue with “DAMN.” appearing above a Swoosh logo. Other features of the shoe include its black tongue and red stitching across the upper.

Nike has confirmed that the “Kenny I” collaboration is set to drop via the SNKRS app on January 26, with a reported retail price of $100 USD. For more new Nike sneakers, take a closer look at the Air Max 270 “Teal.”

With Nike gearing up for the release of its new Air Max 270 model, we recently received a closer look at the “Teal” colorway dropping Air Max Day. Drawing from the designs of the sneaker giant’s popular series, the latest addition to the Air Max family features a hybrid sole unit which features an all-new amalgam external Air heel bag and lightweight foam forefoot sole.

The upcoming “Teal” look serves as a tribute to Tinker Hatfield’s classic colorway made famous by the Air Max 93 and celebrates the annual Air Max Day event. Alongside an iconic white, teal and black color palette found throughout the upper, the insoles found inside the shoe highlight the Air Max Day release slated for the colorway.

Priced at $150 USD, the “Teal” Nike Air Max 270 are set to drop select Nike Sportswear retailers March 26.
