PUMA Palace Guard 4th of July Release Info 370597 Sneaker Drop Information United States of America Independence Day USA Suede Declaration Print US Flag Laces
PUMA is dropping an Independence Day iteration of its low-top ’80s basketball silhouette, the Palace Guard “4th of July.”
The PUMA Palace Guard was introduced when it was worn by NBA Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas and was recently revived by PUMA Hoops in its OG Detroit Pistons-inspired colorway.
This time around, PUMA wraps the Palace Guard in grey suede and adds tonal embossed branding throughout, seen on the heel tab and the basketball-etched graphic on the tongue. “4th July, 1776” has been inscribed into the lateral rear-quarter in the original 1776 Independence font, while the insole is decorated with the first sentences of the Declaration of Independence.
The sneaker is offset by touches of cream, seen on its cushioned polyurethane midsole, eyestays, laces and sock liner. Keeping in tune with the Independence Day theme, the PUMA Palace Guard “4th of July” also comes with a set of Stars and Stripes laces.
PUMA will release the Palace Guard “4th of July” on June 28 at PUMA stores and online for $90 USD.
