Nas is rechannelling his lyrical prowess for the kids. The prolific MC, along with illustrator Michael Lukowski, has announced his first children’s book I Know I Can, taken from his 2002 album God’s Son. Published under Mass Appeal’s MAJR Kids brand, the book is part of a series “empowering kids to be whatever they want to be when they grow up.” He also revealed the book’s cover art via Instagram, writing, “@MassAppeal launches @MAJRour kids brand. My first kids book is on the way.”
A number of MAJR products are now available on the official store including onesies, building blocks that create a boombox and toddler, children and adult T-shirts. “Our mission is to inspire future generations through the creation of unique toys, apparel, and innovative learning tools,” the company’s mission statement reads. “MAJR is here to reflect the diverse hues of both the modern family and popular culture, because education starts in the crib.”
A release date for I Know I Can is yet to be announced but you can subscribe for more information on majrkids.com.
