During her years in the spotlight, Kim Kardashian has become known for her hourglass-shaped figure and has always been open about using shaping underwear and other products to create her signature look. Now Kardashian is finally launching her own take on shapewear through her new brand, Kimono.
Kim shared the announcement on her Instagram, revealing that she’s been passionate about shapewear for more than 15 years, as well as sharing that she’s used to cutting up the garments to make her own styles. “There have also been so many times I couldn’t find a shapeware color that blended with my skin tone so we needed a solution for all of this,” she wrote in her caption.
In a campaign shot by Vanessa Beecroft, the social media queen is seen sporting the new shapewear in each of the styles, including the one-legged design “Solution Short.” “I developed this style for all of those times I wanted to wear a dress or skirt with a slit and still needed the support,” Kardashian added, telling us that the new range will be arriving in a total of nine shades, as well as sizes XXS through 4XL.
