Following last month’s unveiling of a special all-terrain iteration of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, renowned German high-performance aftermarket outfit BRABUS has revealed plans to expand its Mercedes-inspired operations.
Taking inspiration from the Mercedes-AMG S65, BRABUS has produced the ROCKET 900 Cabrio; the car receives it names courtesy of the “BRABUS ROCKET 900 6.3 V12 twin-turbo increased-displacement engine” that propels it. Carrying the title of the “fastest and most powerful four-seater convertible in the world” the BRABUS ROCKET 900 Cabrio boasts a 900-horsepower twin-turbo V12, 1,106 lb-ft. of peak torque and a top speed in excess of 217 mph. In about 3.9 seconds, the astounding luxury ride can sprint from 0-62 mph.
Along with a host of incredible special technical features intended to optimize performance, the ROCKET 900 Cabrio also comes outfitted with BRABUS Monoblock “PLATINUM EDITION” forged wheels, an “active sound management system” for the sport exhaust features, naked carbon finishes, high-end leather for the interior and more.
You can take a look at BRABUS’s Mercedes-AMG S65-inspired ROCKET 900 Cabrio above while the car itself will experience its official world debut at the IAA 2017 showcase in Frankfurt, Germany.
