St. Patrick’s Day in New York City is a sight to behold. The entire city is covered in a sea of green beginning with the morning parade and ending with a night of bar crawls. Among the crowd are bagpipe players, faux leprechauns and shamrock cheerleaders who march from 44th Street past the St. Patrick’s Cathedral up to the American Irish Historical Society. Besides the parade, one of NYC’s favorite traditions is the epic bar and pub crawl that begins on Friday and extends into late Sunday.
We’ve rounded up our favorite Irish pubs and bars where you can watch the parade, celebrate with friends and check out the holiday style. Peep our roundup below and don’t forget to wear something green. Try out Balenciaga’s Triple-S “Neon Green” or even Off-White™’s industrial belt in green.
