Hautlence has just announced its latest complicated watch masterpiece. Named the HL Sphere, the watch features a metallic-blue sphere that rotates on three-axes to tell the current hour. On the right of the domed sapphire-crystal glass display is the minute display, where the minutes count up to 60 until jumping back to “00,” rotating the hours sphere to the next hour.
Hautlence mentions, “This hypnotic dance, which initially appears totally random, actually follows a strict choreography, dictated by four conical gears that move around two crossed spindles inclined at an angle of 21 degrees. Two polished titanium cases featuring a blue PVD treatment adorn this conical differential to create a yin and yang watchmaking composition that forms a sphere.”
Other features include Hautlence’s customary 18K gold “TV Screen” case at 46mm in width, a blue leather strap that matches the sphere and minute hand, and an in-house HTL 501-1 movement. Priced at CHF 99,000 (approximately $98,500 USD), the Hautlence HL Sphere is limited to 28 pieces and will be officially announced at this year’s Baselworld.
Ralph Lauren‘s premium Purple Label imprint delivers a plush take on the company’s Polo Bear mascot by way of this Italian-made T-shirt. Soft cotton jersey plays host to an embroidered image of a very dapper Polo Bear at the chest.
Having been reimagined in everything from ski gear to collegiate gear, mid-heelflip, the latest iteration of the Polo Bear is particularly suave, sporting a tilted beret, circular sunglasses and louche chinos atop a pair of espadrilles. Unlike screen-printed imaginings of the figure, this Bear is embroidered on the chest of the lightweight shirt, ensuring that the graphic will never crack or lose color. The shirt itself offers a trim fit, ideal for wearing alone or underneath lightweight seasonal layers.
The embroidered Polo Bear T-shirt is available on MATCHESFASHION.COM’s web site for $381 USD.
After releasing a luxury edition of the New York Yankees’ signature logo cap, Gucci returns to the popular MLB patch for its new GG Supreme Backpack. The Italian label’s latest carrier brings back the Yankees insignia in similar form, extending the sports-influenced design cue further into its accessories range.
Like the hat, the bookbag is offered in a beige base colorway and features Gucci’s “GG” branding in an all-over print. The Yankees badge is emblazoned on the front of the backpack via a large, cream-toned appliqué that continues the neutral palette and offers a streamlined look. While cotton and a synthetic fiber blend comprise the bulk of the body, leather details add an elevated touch on elements such as the top handle and various trim details. A zip pocket at the front and middle of the bag make up the holding compartments, while double adjustable shoulder straps round out the key exterior pieces. Canvas lining on the interior finishes off the style.
The Gucci GG Supreme Logo Backpack is priced at $9800 HKD (approximately $1,248 USD) and available to purchase now on LUISAVIAROMA.com.
