Brabus, the independent tuning company known for its monstrous Mercedes-Benz edits, has turned its hand to the 2019 G-Class.
Tweaking the engine to produce 789bhp (the same you get from a Ferrari 812 Superfast), Brabus has yet again produced a super-truck that can go from 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds and carry on all the way to 149mph.
Brabus is the master in supplying power and prominence, making the G-Class four inches wider and even more luxurious. The body kit sees a number of physical and visual enhancements, from daylight-running LED roof lights and a rear spoiler to colossal 23-inch monoblock forged black rims, a carbon fibre hood cover finished with two air-sucking vents and huge orange brakes. Inside, the Brabus 800 Widestar receives a complete interior overhaul, seeing plush caramel quilted leather dress its seats. A headliner from the same leather is studded with LED’s, creating a starry night scene inside the cabin, and is complemented by full carbon fibre finishes throughout.
