Zero Motorcycles have teamed up with Deus ex Machina to create a fully customized and all-electric Zero Motorcycles SR/S model. The collaboration also marks Deus’ first time working on an electric motorcycle through world renowned custom fabricator, Michael “Woolie” Woolaway.
Woolaway talked to Zero Motorcycles about the project. “The Zero bike build is the first electric motorcycle I’ve ever been involved with on any level — and I have always been intrigued… That bike is the perfect platform to build something with because there’s no gas tank really. And there’s this trellis frame that’s beautiful and everything else comes off and there’s nothing there. So in my mind quietly, I was thinking, ‘I’d love to do something with that bike because it’s a blank sheet of paper.’”
Woolaway wanted to create a racing motorcycle that wasn’t one hundred percent legal right out of the box with an aesthetic of a competition bike. Finer details include a custom thumb brake from Spain and a paint scheme that highlights the mostly carbon construction with clear-coated panels.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever been able to just sit down and organically shape something,” Woolaway said. “You’re thinking about function and seating position and weight distribution, distance to the pegs… I’ve never been able to just organically create a shape for a motorcycle like this ever. And it was a great experience and I hope everybody likes it.” You can read the full interview over at Zero’s official websitefor more insights. In anticipation of Cyberpunk 2077‘s upcoming release, the game’s developer CD Projekt Red has teamed up with Rockstar Energy and its in-house Rockstar Performance Garage to create a one-off custom Quadra muscle car, using a 1970 Mustang 302 as its starting point, and best of all, one lucky fan will get to win the car.
Using the in-game Quadra as its inspiration, the Southern Californian workshop replaced almost all the exterior body parts on the vintage Mustang with carbon fiber options sourced from Anvil Auto. A custom grille from T-REX Grilles gives the vehicle a more aggressive look via the phantom shroud over the headlights, while a specially-machined “QUADRA” badge from Billet Badges create even more authenticity for the replica. Rounding off the design are new fog and reverse lights from Baja Designs as well as a black and Quadra Yellow paint job from both Irwindale Collision and DH Graphics.
As for its performance, numerous upgrades have been incorporated to bring its functionality up to par with modern vehicles, including dual-engine intakes from K&N Filters, reworked cooling from Mishimoto, four-wheel disk brakes from R1 Concepts, and a new coilover suspension system on all four wheels by Ridetech.
“This is one of those builds that just makes you love what you do and the team you have to accomplish it,” says Rockstar Performance Garage owner Nic Ashby.

Designed by a studio in Shanghai, Buick says that the new Electra is inspired by space capsules, featuring a glass pod-like cabin, sculpted body panels, and LED lights with a 3D effect on the front fascia. Butterfly doors serve to extend the futuristic aesthetic, while the interior stays consistent with a rectangular steering wheel and a wide curved screen acting as both dashboard and console. While the EV is just a concept, the brand also says that it employed a specific design language it calls “Potential Energy,” which will also be adopted in most production EVs releasing within this new decade.
As for its performance, the electric car utilizes a two-motor powertrain capable of pushing 583 horsepower to all four wheels, translating to a 0-60 mph time of just 4.3 seconds. Using GM’s proprietary Ultium battery technology, the Electra also boasts a 410-mile range per charge.
There’s no indication of what the Electra concept would inform or inspire, but we do know that Buick plans on releasing two new electric models before 2030, so enthusiasts should definitely be on the lookout for more news to come.ABT Sportsline has tuned nearly every Audi in the marque’s line-up, and now it is the RS4 Avant’s turn.
