Timberland‘s heavyweight collaborations keep coming. This month alone, the American bootmaker has unveiled joint drops with Off-White™, atmos, Shoe Palace, MADNESS, The North Face and Engineered Garments, to name a few. Now, Japan’s WTAPS gets in on the action.
In line with designer Tetsu Nishiyama’s military intrests, the Timberland 6” boot boasts its usual water-resistance and substantial silhouette. All-grey nubuck covers the upper with matching laces and sole. The heel boasts WTAPS branding and the coordinates of the label’s main office — 35d40.33NL 139d42.42EL. The key detail is the honeycomb embossing seen on the bootshaft, which grants the understated shoe textural intrigue. A leather WTAPS hangtag rounds out the premium package.
Look for specialty Timberland and WTAPS stockists to offer the boot on November 25. Meanwhile, Timberland may have revealed its biggest drop of the season, a Dipset-referencing 6” boot releasing in collaboration with Supreme.
Timberland is launching two special iterations of its classic 6-inch boots as part of a pre-Black Friday promotion. Dubbed the “Two Below Zero” collection, the limited high-tops are swathed in unique “Black Ice” and “Frost Bite” color schemes. The black variant is made up of full-grain leather alongside 3M reflective detailing on the collar and lacing system. On the other hand, the white model is draped in white leather with a metallic silver lacing system for a lavish look. Both boots arrive in an ultra-cool packaging, which is designed to make the boots appear like they’re encased in ice.
Expect an official launch on Timberland’s official website and select retailers this November 21. Each pair will cost you around $220 USD each.
Japan’s atmos returns with another seasonal Timberland collaboration. Unlike last month’s blacked out 6” Boot, this drop focuses on function as much as it does on fashion.
Utilizing premium nubuck on the upper, atmos envelopes Timberland’s signature boot in a teal colorway that takes cues from lakes in wintertime. The waterproof boots also feature a tonal sole and laces, while the heel features textured leather. A set of bright yellow laces are included for contrast. Naturally, the boots come with a matching nubuck atmos-branded hangtag.
Expect the footwear to drop on November 18 for approximately $210 USD on the atmos website and in atmos stores. Recently, atmos announced that it will carry the Timberland x The North Face Nupste boot.
Two classic footwear models from two iconic brands come together to deliver the ultimate winter footwear hybrid. Timberland‘s timeless 6” boot is mixed with details from The North Face’s Nuptse silhouette for a fully functional cold-weather option. As you can see, the bottom part of the uppers are made from Timberland’s familiar tough leather material while the top part is crafted from The North Face’s ultra-warm shell fabric.
There’s no word yet on a release date or price tag for the Timberland x The NorthFace 6” Nuptse 700 Boot but be on the lookout for atmos‘s NYC location as they will be one of the stockists for this special model.
