When it comes to creative partnerships, The Weeknd, PUMA and XO have forged one of the closest, most fruitful collaborative connections in the ever-evolving, expanding joint world of music and fashion collaborations. In recent months, Abel Tesfaye has proven that he takes his pursuit of fashion just as serious as his hunt for a perfect pop and R&B project.
Following a denim-heavy Fall/Winter 2017 lookbook, a second streetwear-inspired collection from H&M, creative and artful selections for merchandise and more. Now, with the end of the year closing in and a new fashion season here, The Weeknd, PUMA, and XO serve up its second major line.
Marked by eye-catching items like the Olive-Green iteration of a striking sneaker boot, the “Deluxe Denim” drop focuses primarily on delivering the best denim artist collaborations have to offer. Regarding the overall aesthetic, style and clothing pairings, it’s very simple; all-denim everything. However, while the tastefully-branded denim pieces might take centerstage, new hoodies, T-shirts and tanks supplement the absoluteness of the collection’s favored material.
You can run through a lookbook for The Weeknd, PUMA and XO’s second, “Deluxe Denim” collection above, while the items themselves will hit e-shelves and brick and mortar shops — including official PUMA company locations and select retailers — on October 26.
This past summer, The Weeknd and PUMA officially revealed plans for the Canadian superstar’s first-ever signature sneaker, the PUMA XO Parallel. First introduced with a clean “Olive” version, the PUMA XO Parallel now adds another new style to its line.
Following up the introductory “Olive” model, the “Triple Black” Puma XO Parallel comes to us just in time for the holiday shopping season. Built using high-end Italian nubuck leather, the Parallel lays a luxurious upper on top of a sturdy rubber midsole and IGNITE cushioned outsole. As the name suggests, the entire shoe comes to us in an all-black, all-purpose design.
You can take a look at the new Weeknd x PUMA XO Parallel in “Triple Black” above; the shoe itself will hit PUMA’s brick and mortar and online retailers on November 11 and carries a $220 USD price-tag.
