Chanel unveils its official Fall/Winter 2018 pre-collection brochure images. Photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, the shots take on a theme of timeless elegance. The pieces are modeled by Adut Akech who closed the brand’s Fall 2018 Couture presentation. Akech also opened the Parisian fashion house’s Cruise 2019 show.
In the imagery, the brand’s iconic tweed gets transformed into an ecru jacket topped off with a red and blue braid. This piece is styled with a knitted skirt which features a wide rib trim. We also see a tweed, wide collared jacket worn with a pair of Bermuda shorts and a bustier over a jersey dress. Leather garments also make an appearance in the form of a coat and a skirt accentuated by chevron motifs. Akech later dons a long tube skirt made of calfskin leather paired with a tweed jacket trimmed with leather. Another chic look is compiled of trousers and a broadcloth belted jacket. In the realm of accessories, she wears quilted leather boots with patent toe caps. Lastly, a lengthy black coat appears with Bermuda shorts underneath.
The FW18 pre-collection will be available for purchase in Chanel boutiques later this month.
