Y-3 has released a new lookbook for Chapter 1 of its Fall/Winter 2018 campaign. The photo spread is shot in downtown Los Angeles showing portraits of youth in the city.
We see two limited-edition footwear styles the Bynder Super and Bynder High. The first reinvents adidas Superstar maintaining its signature shell toe. Its upper is contrasted with bright white Sashiko stitching.
The first drop of the FW18 collection will launch on June 29 at Y-3 flagship stores and select stockists worldwide. The Bynder pack will stock exclusively online and at Y-3 flagship stores on June 30.
The AlphaBOUNCE Instinct is adidas‘ newest running silhouette. The adaptive sneaker features a torsion system made with BOUNCE technology to provide maximum cushion without sacrificing natural foot motion. Its upper is covered in a wave-like texture that blends from the top to the midsole. Continental Rubber is used to build out the outsole allowing for max traction and durability on wet and dry surfaces. The women’s colorways are white and a pastel pink that can both be worn for summer workouts.
On July 7, shoppers will be able to find AlphaBOUNCE Instinct in adi stores and online for $120 USD.
adidas Originals’ classic Superstar 80s silhouette has seen many renditions in its time – most recently, it got covered in super-fuzzy “Varsity Letters.” For minimalists who prefer monochromatic color palettes but still pine for interesting design details, then the newest version may be just the one for you.
Arriving with a crisp white leather upper, the clean sneakers feature black Three Stripe detailing on the side and dark branding on the tongue. White laces even out the look, as does the shell toe feature at the front but the real standout feature comes in the form of the delicate floral graphics which snake around the heel and over the lateral side. Completing the look is adidas’ Trefoil emblem on the back and metallic gold Superstar lettering on the side.
