Shortly after learning of a pink KAWS BFF plush, Kim Jones and his celebrity friends offered more looks at the sure to be sought after art toy.
Taking to Instagram, the Creative Director posted a series of photos showing the plush dressed in what is assumed to be miniature versions of the denim and suiting to be unveiled at his debut Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2019 show. KAWS, Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, A$AP Rocky, Skepta and more are seen holding the black and pink BFF plushes with captions that note KAWS collaboration with the luxury fashion house. Earlier this week the American artist teased the toy commissioned by Dior Homme, but there is no word yet if the dressed plushes are all we will see.

Leading up to the sure-to-sell-out release of the Nike React Element 87, we recently received a detailed on-foot look at the highly-anticipated silhouette.
Set to release in “Sail Light Bone” and “Anthracite Black,” the latest look emphasizes the functional design elements found on the React Element 87. The sleek look of the upcoming sneaker is built around a new state-of-the-art footwear technology developed by Nike that challenges conventional footwear construction. Displaying a stripped-down aesthetic, the upper of the shoe is constructed of a TPE yarn translucent textile with exposed stitching, accented by contrasting exterior heel taping and trail running laces. While a newly-developed drilled React sole with an embedded segment rubber outsole provides the shoe with a new avenue of superior cushioning and traction.
Priced at $160 USD, the Nike React Element 87 launches on June 21 via SNKRS in Asia, Latin America and Greater China, SNEAKERS in Europe, and select Nike Sportswear retailers. A North American drop will follow on July 13 through SNKRS and select retailers.

adidas Originals has released its latest shoe, the Continental 80, as part of its ongoing “YUNG” series. The archival shoe was originally released in the late 1980s — hence the name — and gained popularity lately because of its similarity to the YEEZY Powerphase sneaker.
A one-for-one reproduction of the original shoe, it uses a grain leather upper with perforations on the toe box and to the side. The key detail is blue and red trim detail to the side.

First teased earlier this month in sketches, Patillon posted a tantalizingly obscure photo to Instagram showing the sneakers from beneath the sole. On that sole is grey, white and red paneling, with all-caps “VUITTON” branding in black. The upper is mostly obscured, but a closer look reveals a gold signature silver, black, and white panels and dark laces. A silver strap, emblazoned with tiny white text, tightens the high-top silhouette’s shaft, which sports an upwards-angled “408.” The model is definitely reminiscent of retro basketball kicks.

Earlier this week, Jeremy Scott, creative director of Moschino released imagery of his Fall 2018 campaign photographed by Steven Meisel via Instagram featuring Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber and Soo Joo Park.
The first image included Kaia covered in orange, while the second image presented Gigi in all-blue body paint alluded to a theme of “Alien Nation.” In the campaign styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, each model dons a colorful look. Gerber wears a sky blue outfit similar to pieces worn by former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, while Gigi dons an orange zip-up dress with black accessories. Park who is featured with blue body paint appears in a light pink two-piece outfit topped off with a pillbox hat and matching handbag.
The edited caption first read: “The only thing illegal about this alien is how good she looks.” One user declared her distaste for the original image and Scott responded via an Instagram comment. His comment which was later added to the first image read:
“The entire concept of my ad campaign was to bring attention the U.S. administration’s harsh stance towards ‘illegal aliens’. I painted the models in my show and this campaign as a way to bring attention to this and discuss what exactly is an ‘alien.’ Are they orange, blue, yellow, green? No they are our friends, neighbors, co workers, relatives and people we love.”

Although sports fans all around the globe right now are captivated by the World Cup, let us not forget that one of the most prestigious international tennis tournaments has just commenced. Taking place in London every year, Wimbledon has gained repute as one of the sport’s most respected competitions – its past champions include both Serena and Venus Williams.
In celebration of the big event, Palace has just unveiled its latest collection with adidas Originals. This time around, the long-time collaborators will be releasing a tennis kit that will be worn by all adidas tennis players during Wimbledon (which incidentally kicks off today). The campaign is modeled by Palace skateboarder Blondey McCoy and Wimbledon 2017 champion Garbiñe Muguruza, both seen sporting a selection of athletic garments. From quarter-zip polo shirts and sweatbands, to tracksuits and bucket hats, the extensive range includes pieces perfect for styling both on and off court. Additional items in the program include a dual-branded umbrella, as well as limited edition tennis balls.
The full Palace x adidas Originals collection will drop in-store and online at the Palace web store (as well as at its Japan web store) on July 3 at 11 a.m. local time.

TENNIS: Serena Williams Lands 'InStyle's First-Ever "Badass Woman" Issue

InStyle magazine has unveiled Serena Williams as the latest cover star of its first “Badass Woman” issue. The tennis champion has had a remarkable past nine months as a mother after giving birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. last September. Back in March, after a 14-month-break, Williams went on to win her first match after having Alexis at the BNP Paribas Open. In the ensuing spread and cover shot by Robbie Fimmano Williams dons pieces by The Row, Gottex, Eric Javitz and more.
In the feature interview, Serena digs deep and talks about the first time she remembers being unapologetic:
“It took me a while because I’ve faced so much criticism, whether it was about my body or something else – it was always something. I always felt like I had to be softer or apologize, kind of indirectly, for who I am. And I don’t know when it happened, but something changed. I just became who I am and realized there’s nothing wrong with me. I understand who I am.”
Williams also spoke about what it was like to win the Australian Open while two months pregnant. She shared that she thought she was going to lose early on, but later felt herself getting more encouraged, especially towards the end.
This year, she launched the HBO documentary series, Being Serena and an eponymous clothing line. Head to InStyle magazine to check out the rest of the feature.
