Dolly Cohen, a Paris-based jewelry designer, has created two gold-toned grillz for Queen B arriving in a minimalist Three Stripes design made for one tooth, and an “IVY PARK” grill specifically produced for her lower teeth. Cohen has previously curated grillz for some of Hollywood’s biggest artists including Rihanna, Pharrell, A$AP Rocky, Kanye West and even Jay-Z. Peep the chic accessory in the gallery above.

Following her unforgettable walk down the runway at Versace‘s Spring/Summer 2020 show in Milan last September, Jennifer Lopez has teamed up once again with the Italian fashion house for its SS20 campaign. Photographed by renowned duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the futuristic shoot also features Lopez and Kendall Jenner rocking statement suits, dresses and luxe accessories. Lopez shared in a press release:
“In terms of my career, the Jungle dress really marked a moment in time. To me, Versace represents empowerment and putting something beautiful out into the world. It’s a dream to collaborate with my friend Donatella again on this gorgeous campaign and to create something new and fresh out of a piece of iconic fashion history.”
Inspired by her iconic 2000 Grammys Versace Jungle gown, Lopez sports a sculptural evening ‘fit and a suit in the same legendary print. Additionally, the Hustlers star and Jenner both showcase a variety of strappy shoes and dramatic necklines along with the label’s minimalist handbags. As for menswear, offerings include multicolored silk shirts, denim jackets and suits arriving in automobile patterns.

Avant Arte continues to roll out new special edition prints with renowned UK contemporary artist Paul Insect. The duo’s latest collaborative release entitled Together Alone – Gold features a striking abstract-meets-figurative composition of Insect’s signature collage graphics in neon tones with gold metallic cut-out elements. Sized 84 by 82 centimeters, each piece was printed and painted on museum quality paper with a unique color palette and layout for each print. Only 20 editions will be made available for purchase.

James Jean’s latest time-limited print entitled The Editor – Night Mode stars a mythical figure pruning a towering plant in an otherworldly atmosphere. Measuring 27-3/4 inches tall × 21-1/2 inches wide, each piece in the edition has gone through nine passes to carefully retrace the thin, delicate lines and embellish elements with metallic holographic foil.

Atlanta-based artist Markeidric Walker recently launched a limited giclee edition portraying his celebrated Waffle House 3 artwork. Though Walker’s widely-known for his intricate oil paintings of reimagined Victorian-era portraits juxtaposed with rappers, the artist continues to experiment with new narratives that touch upon Southern culture, Black identity, and socio-political issues. The latest edition is a serial extension of an original painting with each print arriving in three distinct sizes.

To commemorate the cartoon’s 80th anniversary this year, ToyQube teamed up with creative collective Soap Studio on a new vinyl bust portraying Tom & Jerry. Drawing inspiration from the Maneki-Neko fortune cat, the bust features Tom in white fur alongside yellow and dark brown accents with a gold bell around his neck. Jerry, in his classic portrayal, is observed beside him with the pair counting a collection of gold coins. Each mixed-media bust stands nine inches tall.

From the early 1970s to the mid-1980s, Yamaguchi began illustrating advertisements for PARCO, featuring women the artist called “Harumi Gals.” Her portrayals of women fell in line with PARCO’s strategy to depict female figures “living strongly within the times.” YOSHIROTTEN was chosen as the youngest director of Yamaguchi’s Harumi Gals, which culminated in the 2018 exhibition “HARUMI’S SUMMER.” “HARUMI’S WINTER” is essentially a sequel to this exhibition.
Through the interpretation of YOSHIROTTEN, Yamaguchi’s powerful, vibrant and elegantly refined illustrations continue to speak volumes today. Her portrayals of women are both sensual and intimate, like the depiction of a woman drinking a Coca-Cola bottle in lingerie, and empowering, captured in the painting of two women rollerblading.
