Kong: Skull Island is looking to be one of this year’s biggest blockbusters, and today the film’s final trailer has arrived. Taking a different direction from the previous trailers, this one turns to humor, listing all the ways one can die on the island, from disease-carrying flies to the many creatures that want to eat you alive. The latest clip also provides us with plenty of footage of the legendary massive ape along with epic fight scenes against helicopters and a massive reptilian creature called Skull Crawler.

Kanye West Releases Remixed "Bed" Soundtrack From YEEZY SEASON 5 / The YEEZY BOOST 750 Rainbow Fantasy Pack

Kanye West YEEZY SEASON 5 Bed Soundtrack
Those who watched YEEZY SEASON 5 know that on top of the standout collection ‘Ye dropped on us, he also did it to the backdrop of a reworked version of The-Dream’s “Bed” playing melodically. Today, Mr. West drops the full 17-minute long track for us via SoundCloud. As many of you may recall, “Bed” was the hit single for J. Holiday which The-Dream co-wrote — this version is a remixed version of The-Dream’s demo for that song. Remixed by LA duo DJDS (DJ Dodger Stadium), the same duo that worked with ‘Ye on multiple The Life of Pablo tracks, the extended show version fit perfectly with the rotating holographic models on a black backdrop at the show.
Take a listen below and let us know if this is a banger or not.

YEEZY BOOST 750 Rainbow Pack Release Date
The YEEZY BOOST 750 could easily be one of the most hyped shoes of our time. Adding to the frenzy, Yeezy Mafia just dropped a mockup of the coveted shoe in eight new colorways. The bright, rainbow-colored additions are a stark detour from the dominantly neutral color scheme that previous YEEZY BOOST 750s are known for. And just like how its drop date February 30 doesn’t exist, these too, may only live in our imagination

      FRESH NIKES:

The Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Flyknit Gets a Throwback Olive Colorway
So far for 2017, we’ve been seeing the Swoosh give its classic Air Max 90 silhouette a modern Flyknit upgrade. A fusion of old-school design and updated technology, the revamped Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Flyknit continues with its OG-inspired colorways, this time coming in olive. The retro runner features a seamless woven Flyknit upper in marled olive and gray, tonal olive Hyperfuse overlays along the mudguard, gray Swoosh branding, eyelet reinforcements, tongue and branded heel counter badge. A white and gray Air Max sole unit rounds out the nostalgic silhouette, while an olive outsole brings the color scheme full circle. The Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Flyknit Olive will be available at select Swoosh retailers and Nike.com beginning on March 2.
The Shoe Surgeon Gives the Air Jordan 1 a COMME des GARÇONS Treatment
The Shoe Surgeon‘s latest sneaker synthesis takes cues from the highly-coveted COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Dunk High “Clear” colorway and translates it onto the Air Jordan 1 silhouette. This one-off custom AJ1 features an upper constructed of black and white horween leather, CDG-inspired clear vinyl on the panel and vamp, and white reflective 3M detailing throughout. Other details include waxed laces and The Shoe Surgeon branding on the tongue. Take a look at the exclusive creation above and share your thoughts in the comments below.
The Black Nike Waffle Racer '17 Receives a Contrasting Partner in Crime
Following the drop of the Black/White colorway of the Nike Waffle Racer ’17, the silhouette is back to provide a contrasting color scheme for those who want to keep things a little cleaner. This time around, the nylon upper sports a white dominated upper with suede detailing found on its heel and lacing structure. Opposite the white upper is a black Swoosh and heel tab. Nike branding is found on its heel in white in addition to the tongue. Closing it out, you’ll find Nike’s iconic rubber gum waffle outsole supporting a white midsole.
The Nike Waffle Racer ’17 in White/Black is currently available at select retailers such as KITH for $90 USD.
Nike Covers the Air Huarache In "Legion Green"
Nike has brought a little military inspiration to the Air Huarache as it’s followed up this month’s clean black and white release with a “Legion Green” edition of the old Tinker Hatfield-designed runner. Here the early ’90s silhouette comes decked out in a monochromatic upper of suede, mesh and neoprene, applying the deep green hue to the entirety of the upper, as well as the TPU support wrap, lining, laces and molded tongue badge. Below, an anthracite-colored midsole and outsole provide some air-cushioned contrast and traction.
The Air Huarache SE “Legion Green” is available now via NSW spots like Titolo.
A First Look at the Nike Zoom KD 9 Elite
Earlier this month, Kevin Durant laced up a modified take on his signature KD 9 and now we finally have a proper look at the Elite kicks. More than likely the design Durant will don throughout the upcoming NBA Playoffs, the Zoom KD 9 Elite retains the general aesthetic and full-length Zoom cushioning of the original, but extends the collar — which now appears in a thin stretch fabric instead of Engineered Mesh — skyward a bit while employing thick Dyanmic Flywire cables throughout. If you take a look at the heel of the shoe, you’ll notice the Flywire even extends all the way around the ankle (beneath the thin fabric) for improved support and stability.
Though Nike has yet to officially announce the Zoom KD 9 Elite, the Dark Grey/Sail-Hyper Jade version of the kicks are listed as a February 23 release at Japanese retailers like atmos.

SPRING IS COMING :: PHOTOS BY VAN STYLES @VISUALAPPAREL.COM /

The winter feels are still going strong out here in L.A. (I know I know it is a lot more tame than other parts of the country). I think the one thing I love about photographs is the ability to be transported back to the day the photo was made. Wether it is a good time with friends and family or just a day where a moment struck a connection with you strong enough to have you make a picture of it to hold onto.
I decided I wanted to have some warmer thoughts so I made some selects from a shoot I did with Softest Hard at my house. This day really sticks out to me because I got a terrible sun burn from shooting outside by my pool for this.
What I love about working with Softest is her relaxed attitude that transcends the photos we make. This was a playful set utilizing some strong natural light along with colors. Scroll below to see what I am talking about and thanks Softest for always continuing to create!

Meet Halima Aden: Kanye West's Season 5 Muse Is a Hijab-Wearing Model

      Halima Aden CR Fashion Book
Only one week since making her runway debut at YEEZY Season 5, Halima Aden already has one magazine cover in her portfolio. The 19-year-old Somali-American was symbolic of the representation the industry’s been lacking after becoming the first hijab-wearing model signed to IMG. According to reports, Carine Roitfeld styled Kanye West’s show, which may have helped Aden make her CR Fashion Book appearance within Issue 10.
Inside, the interview was conducted by Iman, who is also Somalian and whom Aden names as one of her lifelong inspirations for breaking the glass ceiling. Together they discuss the perception of what it means to be Muslim in America — find an excerpt below before CR Fashion Book hits stands March 2.
Iman: What does the support you’ve received mean to you?
Halima: To me, it represents freedom of choice. A lot of people have the misconception that, as a Muslim woman, I am somehow against women wearing bikinis. No, I want women to feel comfortable and confident in whatever they wear.
Iman: Is there one supporter who really impressed you?
Halima: I didn’t think about how many different people this would affect. I went in thinking that I want something positive for young Muslim girls. But I’ve heard stories from parents who are Christians, telling me, “Thank you, I want my seven-year-old daughter to know that you don’t have to be half-naked to be beautiful.”
Iman: Yes, but sometimes people say, “You are my hero!” and that’s a lot of responsibility.
Halima: I wish I could tell them, “Hey, I’m not a perfect Muslim.” A lot of people had a misconception that I would be the perfect poster child for Islam. So I got a lot of Instagram comments like, “Oh, you don’t have your neck covered, you’re not a Muslim!” My thing is, stop judging women, especially if you’re a man, because you don’t know the responsibility that comes with wearing a hijab.
      Halima Aden
Halima Aden is the hajib-wearing model who just made her debut at YEEZY Season 5 and is newly signed to IMG. The agency also reps Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss.
The 19-year-old Somali-American made headlines when she competed in the Minnesota’s Miss USA competition in a burkini. “I didn’t really have modeling in mind. I wanted to spread a positive message about beauty and diversity, and to show other young Muslim women that there is room for them.”
IMG Models President Ivan Bart said about her signing:
“I found that she was just so brave to stick to what she really believed in and yet go after the American dream of being in a beauty contest. By representing Halima, I would hope that the next 10-year-old girl wearing her hajib right now will feel included in the experience of fashion, and know that she could do that too. We need to reflect in fashion who we are, as a human race.”
Carine Roitfeld is also a new advocate – she reportedly had a role in Aden’s YEEZY casting. “Halima is breaking boundaries of beauty and perception by being herself. I find this incredibly inspiring, and I know she will be an icon.”
Get to know Aden because she’s about to blow up.
