The U.K. is jam-packed full of talent across the country, with designers, artists and young creatives continuing to thrive in the U.K. due to its extensive cultural pool, international affiliations, and artistic hubs that push them to their highest potential.

19-year-old visual artist Isaac Andrews has curated the Collectivist exhibition, which taps on 15 emerging artists from across Britain to connect in celebration of unity. Supported by Converse, the showcase shines a light on them all, disregarding the preconceived notions of what deems an artist worthy, including the need for art school.

Held in Peckham’s Copeland Gallery, the exhibition will see Ola Tokunboh Badiru, Shannon Bono, Derrelle Elijah, Mattia Guarnera-MacCarthy, Annis Harrison, Shaquille-Aaron Keith, Kudi, Trackie McLeod, Conor Murgatroyd, Melitta Nemeth, Victor Ubah, Echo Seireeni, Tanguy, and Alfie White display their artwork in a group format.

The Collectivist exhibition will be on display from December 7-10 at Copeland Gallery in Peckham, London.

Following the reveal of the in-game digital replica for Need for Speed Unboundearlier last month, new images of A$AP Rocky‘s real-life custom Mercedes-Benz 190E have now surfaced. Having hired AWGE as a creative consultant, Unbound will allow players to compete with Rocky in-game for a chance to beat him for the hero car.

The DTM-inspired 190E saloon arrives in Scarface-like mid-split paintwork featuring all-over AWGE branding and the slogans “Always $trive and Prosper” and “If Not Now Then When” printed on the driver and passenger doors. Additional details include X-taped headlights, a metallic gold grille, TESTING warning motifs on the antennae, an extended front splitter with green underglow lights, and deep-dish BBSrear wheels.

“Every panel is altered, all four arches are tubbed and there’s some wonderful, old-school craftsmanship in it. Some great friendships have been forged along the way too, which is what car life is all about,” writes Ryan Steward from Speedhunters who was involved in the project. “It takes a team willing to go beyond any sane level of detail to create something so extremely accurate to a game render.”

Take a closer look at the in-game version of the car here. More details and specifics are expected to arrive via a Speedhunters feature in the coming weeks.

With the holiday season just around the corner, adidas is cooking up Christmas-themed releases for its footwear lineup. This time around, the sportswear giant has covered its Forum shoes in shaggy green material as a celebration of the Grinch created by Dr. Seuss.

This isn’t the first time the Grinch is getting involved in the footwear space — Cactus Plant Flea Market designed a furry Dunk Low earlier this year while Tyler, The Creator designed a fuzzy GRINCH le FLEUR* with Converse back in 2018.

The forthcoming Forums are given a tonal makeover, arriving with shaggy suede all over. The base of the upper is dressed in a light green hue, which is subtly contrasted with a darker tone on the overlays found on the Three Stripes, toe box, lacing system, ankle strap and more. The kicks are complete with a brighter green color on the soles, while Grinch and Christmas-themed charms decorate the shoelaces. The tongue features the Grinch’s signature eyes for a playful touch.

Take a look at the “Grinch” Forums via the gallery above. The sneakers are expected to release via adidas and select retailers on December 1.

Iconic sex-positive brand, Playboy, released two lingerie collections today: The Everyday Logo and The Lace Collection. Pulling inspiration from decades of iconic Playmate pictorials, both collections effortlessly exude seduction and functionality.

Designed to be layered for a confident and chic look, the Everyday Logo collection is the moment your boudoir of outdated basics has been waiting for. Each garment dons the custom and iconic Playboy plaid, instantly elevating each outfit you pair it with. With the available colorways Black, Red, Grape and Pink, you have options for any day to night fit.

The Everyday Collection features feminine soft cup bras, sexy bralettes, cheeky briefs, bodysuits, tanks and thongs. Playboy’s design director Mel Floyd told Hypebae, “This collection is sheer, so it’s super sexy worn on its own but can also look very sleek when layered up and worn together.” As for her favorite pieces to layer: “I love the balconette underwire worn under the camior bodysuit!”

In another string of good news, Playboy also released its seductive Lace Collection today. Made from “soft European designed lace and comfortable elastic,” it’s the epitome of sexy and feminine, revealed the brand. The collection features bralettes and thongs but by far the standout piece is the high-waisted Lace Boxer Briefs that hug your curves and give your bum the “sitting pretty,” look. Make sure you cop yours in one of the following colorways: Black, Red, Pink, Green or Ivory Shimmer. For the femmes that love a transitional fit, Floyd says this collection is a must.

ART: BANKSY INSTRUCTS SHOPLIFTERS TO TARGET GUESS

banksy guess regent street store london art work designs

Anonymous British artist Banksy recently took to Instagram to shed light on the fact that GUESShas been utilizing his art work without his permission. It’s been said that as Banksy has yet to reveal his official name, that he’s unable to file any form of copyright regarding his work, meaning that brands and entities technically are able to use his images.

The artist shared an image of the brand’s Regent Street store in London, showcasing its window display featuring a mural of one of his most popular works, Love Is In The Air (Flower Thrower.) Banksy shared the image with his 11.6 million followers, encouraging shoplifters to target the store.

“Attention all shoplifters,” Banksy’s post began. He continued, “Please go to GUESS on Regent Street. They’ve helped themselves to my artwork without asking, how can it be wrong for you to do the same to their clothes?”

The collection in reference is GUESS’s recent collaboration with BRANDALISED, described as a graffiti license who aims to offer Banksy fans affordable graffiti collectibles. Prior to Banksy’s post, GUESS’s chief creative officer Marciano spoke about the collection, saying that “The graffiti of Banksy has had a phenomenal influence that resonates throughout popular culture. This new capsule collection with Brandalised is a way for fashion to show its gratitude.”

As a result of Banksy’s post, GUESS reportedly closed the store and covered up the display.

ENTERTAINMENT NEWS:

kim kardashian skims micro thong khloe kardashian underwear size inclusive Kim Kardashian is being called out for SKIMS‘ micro thong as the itty-bitty piece of underwear is not as size inclusive as it claims.

While the intimate garment comes in wide range of sizes from XS to 4X, the front-facing fabric does not accommodate all bodies as many shoppers are complaining that it does not cover their private bits. Voicing their concerns on Twitter, some shared, “The funniest thing about the SKIMS micro thong is it’s literally named the “Fits Everybody” thong. It does not, in fact, fit everyone, Kimberly.”

Others agreed, writing, “Looking at SKIMS jersey micro dipped thong and I’m just convinced I will never be able to wear that.”

And honestly, they’re not alone as Khloé Kardashian has been nudging Kim to create pieces for those with more to love in the nether regions. In a past episode of The Kardashians, the youngest of the big three asserted that SKIMS’ bodysuits were not friendly to the big pussy club. Sister Kim returned the favor by designing more generous one-pieces, tagging Khloé in an Instagram story. Kim poked fun at her younger sibling, writing, “I’m in a SKIMS design meeting and we’re going to widen the shapewear bodysuit vagina area just for YOU,” calling it the #KhloeKut.

While we are all for micro-thongs, we’re hoping Kim listens to Khloé and caters to those with wide-set vaginas.

Please and thank you.kaia gerber alexander mcqueen slash bagAlexander McQueen just announced its newest silhouette, paying tribute to the brand’s signature McQueen knuckle hardware.

Dubbed ‘The Slash Bag,’ the new offering emphasizes the now-iconic knuckle design alongside the House’s classic skull motif, drawing inspiration from knuckledusters and the gritty streets of London. Enveloped in antique silver and gold metal, the bag’s embellishment represents a sense of urban toughness juxtaposed with the beauty of jewelry.

Made up of a supple red lambskin leather body, the bag features cut-out details inspired by the art of tailoring and boasts a press stud closure. Complete with an antique silver-finished chain strap, the bag’s handle is designed with Swarovski-encrusted rings.

To celebrate the launch of the bag, Alexander McQueen tapped model Kaia Gerber for an all-new film that blurs the lines between humanity and technology. Directed by Glen Luchford, the campaign offers an eerie look at a futuristic universe, one where Gerber comes face to face with a harsh reality.

Hadid posted pictures from the new campaign on her feed, which were reportedly deleted on Wednesday. The new campaign was created to display the brand’s Objects line and featured a number of children holding plush toys, bizarrely dressed in bondage. Shortly after the campaign was released, users on Twitter noticed that one image appeared to include a poorly hidden court document about ‘virtual child porn,’ causing people to question the brand’s ethics and intentions.

The model recently appeared in Balenciaga’s Garde-Robe campaign alongside Nicole Kidman, and before that was one of the main stars of the brand’s collaborative campaign with adidas. Images from Hadid’s adidas campaign still appear on her social media, but anything more recent has likely been deleted after the model received backlash regarding her support for the brand, also leading to the phrase ‘#BalenciagaGate’ to trend on Twitter.

Stay tuned for more details.

In other news, Kanye West is selling Balenciaga hoodies for $20 USD.

In a somewhat surprising turn of events, West rejoined Twitter under the unfortunate reign of billionaire Elon Musk (exactly the person we need running a platform dedicated to free speech) and announced that he’ll be running for president in 2024. It’s also been said, according to BBC, that West has asked Donald Trump to be his running mate as if things couldn’t possibly get worse.

It’s not the first time that West has attempted this particular fate either, for those of you who remember his (thankful) failure back in 2020 when he first decided to run. The rapper only amassed about 70,000 votes at the time and was only listed as an official candidate in 12 states, and that was before his “White Lives Matter” T-shirts and antisemitic comments, so there’s still hope that he won’t be successful this time around either.

News of Ye’s presidential campaign comes shortly after a number of stories broke about West’s treatment of his YEEZY staff, with former employees sharing an open letter about the rapper forcing them to watch porn and look at explicit images of Kim Kardashian in a bid to manipulate them.

Stay tuned for more updates, and hopefully, more failures where West’s potential presidency is concerned.

SAINT LAURENT IS HOSTING A MADONNA EXHIBITION AT MIAMI ART BASEL

To celebrate Rive Droite’s re-edition of SexMadonna‘s groundbreaking book, Saint Laurent is set to host an exhibition at Art Basel in Miami Beach.

Curated by Madonna alongside Anthony Vaccarello, the exhibition will showcase large-format images from the book, in a bid to celebrate the previously controversial photographs unlike ever before. The images will be showcased in a temporary beachfront box structure built especially for Art Basel Miami.

Sex was first released back in 1992, and quickly became known for its provocative imagery and liberated views of sexual self-expression, something that wasn’t entirely popularized back then. Featuring imagery by Steven Meisel and written text by Madonna herself, the book remains a powerful artefact of the past, one that continues to spearhead today’s sexual revolution, at least in part.

To mark the book’s 30-year anniversary alongside its undeniable impact, Madonna and Anthony Vaccarello have come together to bring the book to life through Art Basel. The book’s re-issue, published by Callaway, will also be available in a bespoke run of 800 copies, created exclusively for Saint Laurent. A limited amount of the books will also be signed by Madonna, with proceeds donated to the Raising Malawi charity. Elsewhere, the exhibition will be home to branded T-shirts and tote bags for attendees to purchase.

The Saint Laurent gallery will be available to visit free of charge for those over the age of 18 from November 29 to December 4.
