OUTKAST REUNION TOUR TO INCLUDE 20 DATES (I CANT WAIT!!!!)

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and André “3000” Benjamin, the duo that forms the Grammy-winning group, OutKast, confirmed today on Twitter their 40-date festival tour to celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary. According to their website, OutKast’s first performance of the tour will be in April at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, which will mark the end of their seven-year hiatus.
“And imagine, all we wanted to do was rap!” André 3000 said. “I am thankful to have been a part of a group that allowed me to explore anything that came to mind and have fun doing it.”
“Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for 20 years of supporting Outkast,” André 3000 wrote.
“I’m looking forward to rocking the stage with my Bro Ski and to all the fans—stank you smelly much, this is for y’all!” Big Boi wrote.
OutKast, the genre-busting rap and hip-hop group based out of Atlanta, has sold over 25 million albums since the band’s debut in 1994. Their critically acclaimed album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below won six Grammys, including Album of the Year, making OutKast the first rap group to ever win an award in that category. Let’s see what they have to bring to the stage this time around.
