The Seventh Letter recently joined forces at POW WOW 2014 for a pop-up exhibition. Aptly dubbed “Honolulu 014,” the exhibition was a last-minute addition to this year’s lineup and featured pieces from veteran graffiti artists of MSK and AWR crews, alongside artists under The Seventh Letter community and participants of this year’s POW WOW. Aside from visually-stimulating paintings from the likes of Risk, Pose, Dabs Myla, Aaron De La Cruz, Haze and Barry McGee, street culture photographers Martha Cooper, Willie T and Estevan Oriol also contributed striking imagery to the show. Spread over two rooms, the exhibition carries out the creative spirit of POW WOW and is now open to those in the Kaka’ako area.
