Van Styles has worked with a few better known streetwear brands over the years, most notably The Hundreds and Primitive. This season the Los Angeles photographer shot the Spring/Summer 2014 lookbook for socks brand 40s & Shorties. It might be difficult to make a sock lookbook exciting, therefore we also completely understand the brand’s choice of collaborating with the photographer, who usually manages to add some sex appeal to the subject matter. That was of course also the case here. With the help of models Rachel Sterling, Daria Makuch and Loraine Day, the current offering of the brand is presented.
