- The 2014 New York City Marathon is right around the corner. For the fifth consecutive year, adidas Running has partnered with AKTIV Against Cancer to commemorate the annual occasion. A celebratory capsule collection, featuring the adidas Tempo Boost, the adidas Grete Boost and an assortment of running tights, tops, and shorts are being released to benefit the foundation. In addition to the shoes and apparel, adidas is pledging to make a $1 donation to AKTIV’s cancer research for every “A Game” picture shared on Twitter or Instagram with the hasthag #mystepmatters. Leading up to the race on November 2, marathon participants and others will be able to purchase items from the entire collection at the TCS New York City Marathon Health and Fitness Expo at the Javits Center.
