Following the collaborative series debut late last summer, Samuel Ross‘ A-COLD-WALL* and contemporary eyewear brand RETROSUPERFUTURE reunite for new reworkings of the Caro and America frames.
Samuel Ross’ signature industrial aesthetic and affinity for brutalist architecture shine through the distinct Caro sunglasses found in Cadmium, Amber, Marquina, Sandstone, and Onyx colorways. The frames consist of 60% Italian acetate and 40% nylon found in a mix of marbled patterns and translucent colors. ACW*’s bracket logo is laser-etched along the hinge, and seasonal codes are printed on the black and colored lenses.
The America frames found in Amber and Onyx embody a more traditional form dressed in a 3D grid pattern with a smooth color gradient towards the temple tips. Season codes are etched boldly along the temples, and co-branding is seen on the inner sides.
The ACW* x RETROSUPERFUTURE sunglasses are now available on the A-COLD-WALL* website for £245 ($320 USD). All frames come in a recycled leather case and boast 100% UV protection.
