Newly arriving from the Nike camp is a fresh makeup of the KD7 silhouette. The KD7 “Lightning 534″ is the latest weather-themed colorway, inspired by the city of New York and more specifically “the electricity of New York’s basketball scene,” as Durant himself put it. Giving way to the numeral moniker – the corner of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street in New York City is home to a crown in the city’s skyline, where the towering lightning rod on the Empire State Building is struck by lightning an average of 25 times per year. Graphics on the Nike Swoosh and outsole visually represent the weather patterns. A release date has been set for November 25, but for now, check out the currently available KD7 models over at Nike.com.
