Gucci Mane took to Twitter to announce the news. “Tell buddy get ready,” wrote the Trap God. “@verzuzonline nov 19 TrapGod vs SnoCone.” The upcoming battle is a significant moment for the two artists because of their long-running beef that dates all the way back 2005. Mane was accused of shooting and killing Jeezy’s associate Henry Lee Clark III, but prosecutors decided to drop the murder charges in 2006 due to a lack of substantial evidence. But if there’s any indication that the beef has been settled, the upcoming face-off should be a good sign. T.I., who wrote on Instagram, “now THIS…. Is what the people wants to see,” he wrote. “Trap Muzik salutes y’all.”

Gucci Mane and Jeezy’s upcoming VERZUZ battle is set to take place on November 19, 8 p.m. EST on Apple Music.

Pluto x Baby Pluto is projected to open at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200 chart with approximately 100,000-120,000 equivalent album units. 2 Chainz‘s So Help Me God! is expected to debut at No. 4 with 25,000-28,000 units while NBA YoungBoy‘s mixtape Until I Return could open at No. 6 with 21,000-24,000 units.

A collaborative album from Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone is on the way.

The announcement was made by the Los Angeles-born artist during a video interview with Korean publication HIPHOPLE. Sitting down in what looks like his home studio, Ty Dolla $ign didn’t reveal any information about the collab project at all and only said, “Posty and Ty Dolla $ign album coming soon,” followed by a laugh.

The two artists have collaborated on tracks before, namely “Pyscho” from Posty’s 2018 project beerbongs & bentleys and “Spicy” from Ty Dolla $ign’s latest studio album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

While Ty’s studio album has already been released, Malone is still working on Hollywood’s Bleeding followup. The “Sunflower” artist spoke to the Wall Street Journal Magazine in July 2020 and explained that “this has been a perfect time to make music, and to write songs about what’s going on currently,” referring to the quarantine protocols. “Honestly, for a songwriter to be in the house all day is a blessing and a curse. In the darkest of times I’m just trying to make something beautiful out of it,” he said.
