With the roof off, drivers will be able to experience the PHEV hypercar in an even more tactile way. The sound from its 986 HP and 664 lb-ft of torque-producing four-liter V8 and three electric motors will now be directly funneled into the driver’s cabin thanks to tubes that force the sound at you inside — with or without the roof.

0-62 MPH is achieved in just 2.5 seconds and it will hit 124 MPH in 7 seconds, or 0.3 seconds slower than the fixed-roof SF90. The Spider will continue to hit its top speed of 211 MPH and will do so with ease thanks to a high-tech eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Additionally, customers can choose to add the optional Assetto Fiorano pack which gives the Ferrari SF90 Stradale Spider track-focused Multimatic shock absorbers, a host of carbon fiber and titanium components that reduce weight by 21kg, a carbon rear spoiler, and sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Furthermore, as this car is a PHEV it will also run exclusively on its electric motors if you so wish. For example, if you’re dawdling around a city, you’ll be provided with around 16 miles of range from its 7.9kWh batteries that will power the front wheels only, all while limiting speeds to 84 MPH.

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale Spider is set to land in dealerships sometime in Q2 2021 for around £425,000 GBP (approx. $560,000 USD) — which is about £50,000 GBP more than the standard version. Take a closer look at the car above.
