FRESH KICKS

Nike's SB Dunk High Gets a Buttery "Waffle" Colorway
Nike's SB Dunk High Gets a Buttery "Waffle" Colorway
Nike has given its SB Dunk High silhouette a premium overhaul inspired by the undisputed G.O.A.T. of breakfast foods: waffles. This particular rendition of the classic skate shoe features a tonal wheat-colored upper — complete with a waffle-woven fabric — a chicken-and-waffles graphic on the insole, and a syrupy Swoosh. Technically speaking, the buttery kicks feature the SB Dunk’s flexible outsole for greater board control rendered in a dark gum and a lightweight mesh tongue for greater breathability.
These decadently delicious kicks drop on April 2. Until then, is anyone else hungry? How about brunch?
The Air Jordan 5 Retro Low is Getting a Melo-Approved Makeover
The Air Jordan 5 Retro Low is Getting a Melo-Approved Makeover
Thanks to Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan Brand affiliation, the Air Jordan 5 is the latest of His Airness’ signature kicks to get a New York-inspired makeover. Following in the footsteps of 2013′s Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG and adopting the Knickerbockers’ signature combination of blue and orange, this low-top take on the Air Jordan 5 ditches the familiar Chicago Bulls-inspired black nubuck and red accents in favor of Melo-approved hues. An icy outsole and navy/white midsole complete the package.
Look for these to hit select Jordan Brand stockists March 28 for $175 USD per pair.
Nike Air Huarache "Action Green"
Nike Air Huarache "Action Green"
Thanks to its early ’90s pedigree, Nike Sportswear’s Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Huarache lends itself perfectly to the hues of the era — which is exactly what fans of the kicks are getting with this latest NSW release. Opting for an Action Green/Phantom-White-Vivid Orange make-up that’s appropriate of its heyday, the kicks couple off-white synthetics and a matching mesh toe box with bold green neoprene, a black TPU heel support wrap, matching rubber outsole and white air-cushioned midsole.
You can find these at Undefeated now for $110 USD while supplies last.
