New Acura NSX "Beginnings" Short Film Exposes the Rigors of Professional Racing

In a new Acura NSX short film, dreams of becoming a race car driver start early for a young boy in his rural hometown. The visual, named “Beginnings,” was written and directed by Italian director Alessandro Pacciani and follows a child as he becomes a young adult pursuing his passion for professional racing. The Acura NSX serves as the perfect hybrid sports car for the film’s main character to use as he trains for an event, displaying his heartache and hard work towards becoming a champion race car driver. The video even accomplishes to channel the spirit and essence of Ayrton Senna, who helped develop the original NSX back in the late ’80s and is regarded as one of the greatest Formula 1 champions in racing history.
The 2017 Acura NSX boasts three electronic motors, a 3.5 L twin-turbo V6 engine, nearly 600 horsepower, and can reach speeds of 191 miles per hour. Curva red is the slick colorway of the car within the short. Acura’s supercar NSW rivals classic models like the Corvette, Porsche 911, and the Audi R8. It retails for approximately $160,000 USD.
‘Lowrider Brasil’ Explores the Country’s Burgeoning Lowrider Culture

Lowrider Brasil is a short documentary by filmmaker Stéphane Benini that offers an intimate look into the lives and clubs behind Brazil’s burgeoning lowrider culture. Nominated as part of the official selection of the London Motor Festival 2016 “Best Documentary Film” category, the visual takes to the streets of Sao Paulo and Rio to tell the stories of Brazillian lowrider clubs “Car Club Por Vida,” “Vida Bandida CC” and “Otra Vida.” In between glistening shots of some of the rarest whips in action, the film features interviews with club members and presidents, who talk about what lowrider culture means to them and how it fares within Brazil’s complex social-political fabric.
