nike air max 97 desert sky release footwear shoes sneakers
Nike returns with a fresh summer footwear offering that is the Air Max 97 “Desert and Sky” silhouette. The beloved low-top’s makeup is reminiscent of a desert horizon with the bright blue portion of the upper mimicking a sweeping sky followed with “Desert Sand and Royal Tan” hues hitting the lower section to imitate the hot terrain. Completing the design is an all black sole unit and Swoosh branding on the midsection for added contrast.

With many are still chasing after the inaugural release of the React Element 87, images recently surfaced of Nike‘s upcoming releases for the highly-popular runner.
Straying away from the monochromatic tones found on the debut “Sail Light Bone” and “Anthracite Black” looks, the colorways set for 2019 will feature a greater focus on color. Utilizing multi-tones, the upcoming releases highlight the progressive functional design that Nike put together on the new running model. The mashup of bright and bold colors place a spotlight on the React Element 87’s translucent TPE yarn upper, accented by exposed stitching, exterior heel taping and most importantly the newly-developed drilled React sole and embedded segment rubber outsole.

Nike has revealed its latest running silhouette, with an upgraded Turbo version of the Zoom Pegasus sneaker. The update comes in response to feedback from elite runners — including Eliud Kipchoge — with new features added to improve the silhouette.
The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo is similar to other Nike sneakers — notably the Zoom Vaporfly Elite and 4% — due to its use of a responsive ZoomX midsole and aerodynamic heel. One difference with the other sneakers is the removal of a carbon-fiber plate, which is used for propulsion in races but isn’t necessary in day-to-day running. Other features include a layer of Nike React foam for durability, a specially-designed heel collar and a thick racing stripe down the middle of the sneaker.
The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo will be available for NikePlus members in the U.S., China, Japan, Germany, U.K. and Brazil on July 19, before getting a general release on August 2.
