2021 is a celebratory year for Nike (NYSE:NKE -2.09%) as it marks the 30th anniversary of its beloved Air Huarache — a throwback runner-turned-lifestyle silhouette that garnered notoriety for its extremely plush ride and sporty look. After re-releasing its collaborative colorways with Stussy, the model is now digging back into its archives to bring back one of its makeups from 2003 — the Air Huarache “Escape”.

The kicks start out with a traditional Neoprene bootie that is mostly swamped with a teal-ish blue hue and offset with “Smoke Grey” hits that poke out through the mid-foot and the lower parts of the heel. Earthy tones are then pronounced atop the nubuck toe boxes and the mid-foot overlays, the former being swarmed with a lighter “Bisque” hue while the latter is coated with a muted “Rope” tone. Neutral tones also get some playing time here as a stark black covers the model’s signature heel cage while a crisp white graces the interior lining, the laces and the tongue branding. Moving southbound, the midsoles are whipped up with angelic surfaces and paired up with stark black outsoles.

Retailers like Asphalt Gold have these scheduled for a launch on April 16, 2021 for $120 USD.Nike (NYSE:NKE -2.09%) trumpets its four-silhouette Space Hippie line as “trash,” which it is: each pair is partially constructed from recycled materials. Though the quartet of sneakers — the Space Hippie 01, Space Hippie 02, Space Hippie 03 and Space Hippie 04 — are indeed trash in a literal sense, each is far from trash in a figurative sense. All four are simultaneously stylish and sustainable, and the latest pair to join the ranks is the Space Hippie 04 in a women’s “Photon Dust” makeup.

Uppers are made of a light tan knit material called “Space Waste Yarn,” which uses roughly 75% recycled polyester material produced from PET bottles, T-shirts, and thread waste. Rainbow-like details grace the large lateral quarter Swoosh, the small Swoosh on the medial toebox, the seam on the medial quarter, each side’s top eyelet and the extended heel tab’s branding. Asymmetrical laces and “04” tongue tags complete the upper, while insoles offer a neon green hue and a classic Nike Sportswear “Sunburst” logo. Down below, light blue midsoles are built from Nike’s sustainable Crater Foam to complete the look.

The Nike Space Hippie 04 “Photon Dust” will release via Nike SNKRS Japan on April 16. Its MSRP is set at $130 USD.Sneaker reselling is a multi-billion dollar industry, rife with backdoor deals, bots, and oneupmanship. Here to change the lucrative and elusive game is Another Lane, a new Black-owned sneaker reselling marketplace that puts community first.

Run and founded by the husband and wife duo Chad and Adena Jones, Another Lane aims to fight the gentrification in the sneaker resell market. Speaking to Bloomberg, Adena said, “Our voices were what created this space… To have our voices and our faces missing from certain spaces is just too much.”

What Adena is talking about is how the sneaker industry owes so much to Black culture, yet the industry is predominantly run by white males. Another Lane’s business model is empowered by the message of reclaiming its space in the scene, and it aims to do so by using community and togetherness at the forefront of its model.

For example, while the likes of eBay, GOAT and StockX are based on anonymous profiles, Another Lane encourages users to communicate with one another. You can sign up and chat with the seller, and the images are also supplied by the seller in question. To gain a membership, newcomers must be vetted and need to supply references before they’re accepted, and unlike other platforms, most of the shoes here aren’t deadstock.

Watson has been known to wear special Jordan Brand shoes during the PGA Tour‘s most prestigious tournaments, and is a clear subscriber to the “look good, play good” mindset: the caption on his Instagram post revealing the shoes reads “If I wasn’t ready for the Masters, I am now!”

Watson’s new PEs offer up a supple white leather upper with metallic green top and bottom eyestays, a green Jumpman on the tongue tag and yellow tongue trim. White midsoles sit atop a golf-specific outsole, made of metallic green TPU and equipped with six circular white spikes. With the color scheme and hefty helping of metallic detailing, the design looks like a cross between the Air Jordan 4 “Metallic Green,” a team-issue Oregon Ducks sneaker and an ultra-modern take on the famed green blazer that’s awarded to the Masters Tournament champion each year. 

As this is indeed a player edition, it won’t see a retail release. However if you’re looking to catch it in action, Watson is set to tee off his first round at 10:06 AM EDT on April 8.Nike (NYSE:NKE -2.20%) is home to some of the strongest lifestyle sneakers on the market right now, and one that continues to consistently lead the charge is the Dunk. Up next for the Nike Sportswear silhouette is a fresh new rendition that is understated in every sense: the Nike Dunk High “Panda”.

As one can probably infer from its namesake, this impending offering puts simple black and white color-blocking at the forefront. The former hue touches down on the Swooshes, overlays and shoe strings, while the latter fills in the perforated leather toe boxes, quarter panels, collars and the nylon-infused tongues. Based off its color coordination, it’s nearly identical to the Nike Dunk Low “Black White” that dropped in early March 2021, but this specific proposal deviates with tiny bursts of “University Red” Nike Air branding on the tongues. Moving downwards, the midsoles are served up with a crispy white surface and mated with an all-black outsole underneath.

No release date has been confirmed by Nike yet, but it’s likely that these will be hitting the shelves sometime during Summer 2021. The brand now reveals a new women’s performance golf shoe.

The Nike Golf React Ace Tour includes Nike’s React foam cushioning and the FlyEase lacing system, which provides a secure fit. This golf cleat is built with a clear mesh upper that displays the FlyEase system below its skin. A mudguard encases the complete profile as the white foam midsole that utilizes React technology for performance. In addition, Nike consciously positioned traction beside the outsole’s border for added stability.

Priced at $150 USD, the React Ace Tour is expected to release on Nike’s official website and select retailers worldwide.LeBron James‘ affinity for Nike (NYSE:NKE -2.20%) ‘s Air Max 95 is well-known, so Nike Basketball is nodding to the King’s favorite lifestyle silhouette with a new LeBron 18 Low “Greedy.” Reminiscent of the Air Max 95 “Greedy” in palette and colorblocking alike, this low-cut LeBron 18 combines the Swoosh’s finest hoops technology with plenty of Nike Sportswear lifestyle flair for a fresh take on a classic.

Uppers are composed of synthetic TPE material in black and white and use signature mismatched “Greedy” colorblocking. The right shoe boasts volt and red accents while the left shoe looks to orange and teal, but signature detail on both feet is provided by the tongue. The right tongue is done up in black, the left in purple, and each features a two-tone Air Max 95-style badge that’s been altered to read “LeBron.” This altered branding continues on the volt (right) and orange (left) insoles, both of which add a “LBJ” motif to their standard Nike Air logo. Bulbous heel Air Max units complete both looks by matching the color of their respective insoles.

The Nike LeBron 18 Low “Greedy” has already released at select Asian stockists, and will likely arrive in the US later this summer. Its MSRP is set at $160 USD.
