FASHION & STYLE: Pirelli's 2018 Calendar Casts All Black Models, Like Naomi Campbell & Adwoa Aboah

 

 

 

 

When we last spoke to Adwoa Aboah, she told us representation of all types of people and beauty should be a number-one priority in the fashion industry. Her latest gig succeeds at doing just that — being a beacon of diversity in a space that often so blatantly lacks it. She stars in Pirelli’s 2018 calendar with all black models as her cast mates.
Alongside Adwoa are the likes of Naomi Campbell, Diddy, Lil Yachty, Slick Woods, Whoopi Goldberg, RuPual, Duckie Thot, Sasha Lane and many, many more. Together they enter the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland as lensed by Tim Walker and styled by British Vogue Editor in Chief Edward Enninful, the publication’s first black editor.
