Known for pioneering polo shirts and logo branding on the outside of garments, Lacoste continues to deliver quality products for children with its original twist on things. Based on the “Block to School” campaign, the collection guarantees a fun and colorful start to term. Autumnal shades such as burgundy, bottle green and deep blue are featured with bold primary colors, strong stripes, camouflage prints and color blocking.
For the middle of winter there is the “Cosmo Croc” inspiration which emphasizes warm materials and outerwear using a retro style with playful designs to fight the gloominess of the colder months. The brand’s seasonal offerings will actually be a new addition to Selfridges this year. Kelly Bray, buyer for Selfridges Childrenswear and Toys adds: “Lacoste’s easy to wear, smart-casual pieces, create a relaxed back-to-school look. The mix and match of patterns and vibrant colors brighten up the winter months.”
The range will be available online and at select retailers worldwide including Selfridges from this December. The collection will be available for kids aged from 4 to 16 years with prices varying from £20 to £240 GBP (approximately $27 to $315 USD).
