Our obsession with Glossier is so real it almost gets out of hand. We basically have the same three-stage reaction every time Emily Weiss announces a new product — going from OMG, then frantically trying to place an order online and finally, impatiently waiting for the packages to arrive. Before we know it, we’ve accumulated not only the entire Glossier product offering, but also the pink pouches that come with each purchase. The obvious thing to do is to use them as toiletry bags when travelling, or as oversized pencil cases, but a girl can only have so many bags for her knick knacks.

Then one day, we came up with a wild thought: why don’t we rework the pink pouches into something wearable?

This completely random idea is realized only with the help of vintage retailer, Frankie Collective. We gave the brand’s creative director Sara Gourlay and designer Tamara Grunberg 10 Glossier bags and let them work their magic. The result is a bubblegum pink bikini set that is rounded off with gold chain strap details – so bold and chic we could totally see it on Kim Kardashian, to be honest.

Shot at Vancouver’s The Burrard hotel, our Valentine’s Day editorial sees model Clara Mary Joy taking the swimwear for a test drive while wearing Glossier makeup, of course. This fresh faced look is achieved with the editor-approved Boy Brow, Perfecting Skin Tint, Haloscope highlighter and Cloud Paint blush, topped of by the Generation G lipstick and the fan-favorite clear Lip Gloss. To shop these products, head over now to glossier.com. As for the bikini, sorry but you’ll have to get creative and DIY it at home.
