With the All-Star festivities descending on the City of Angels this upcoming weekend, Jerry Lorenzo is revisiting his 1987 Basketball Sneaker to celebrate the occasion, crafting five exclusive new takes on the coveted Fear of God silhouette. Taking cues from the most iconic bball shoe of all time, the release offers up five different colorways: Paris Gray Sky/Black, White/Black/Varsity Red, Black/Royal, White/Varsity Red/Black, and Black/Varsity Red. Those looking to cop the pack will have their work cut out for them, though: each colorway is exclusive to a particular retailer in Los Angeles. FoG fans can expect the “Paris Gray Sky” look to be available from Maxfield, the White/Black/Varsity Red pair will hit Union, and the Black/Royal combo will be at Barneys in Beverly Hills. Finally, the White/Varsity Red/Black and Black/Varsity Red colorways will touch down at 424 on Fairfax and RSVP Los Angeles, respectively.

The entire “All-Star” pack is due out this Thursday, February 15.

Shortly after a closer look of its Camo colorway the UNDEFEATED x Nike Kobe 1 “Protro” is back in a new colorway to complement the aforementioned pair.

The retooled Nike Kobe 1 sees a white-colored upper with black contrasting detailing on its branding and inner lining. Co-branding returns to each lateral side in addition to the striking orange insoles and gum bottom. A noticeable difference on the white pair is the incorporation of Kobe Bryant’s number 8 and 24 on each medial side.

Also equipped with a special hangtag, the UNDEFEATED x Nike Kobe 1 “Protro” in White/Gum is a separate launch from the “Camo” edition and will release on February 16 at the UNDEFEATED pop-up on La Brea Avenue. Take a look at the imagery above and let us know how this colorway compares to the “Camo” edition.

Building upon its 50th anniversary releases, PUMA recently unveiled an updated Suede model in collaboration with brand ambassador, Big Sean. Part of the European sportswear company’s plan to release limited edition Suede iterations, Big Sean and PUMA modernized the classic sneaker.

The all-new Big Sean x PUMA Suede 50th features a “White Whisper” premium suede upper accented by perforations, the Detroit rapper’s branding signature on the sides and a heel tab done in green, white and blue. While matching white laces and a clean white sole support the bootie addition of the updated model.

Priced at $110 USD, look for the Big Sean x PUMA Suede 50th to release at select PUMA retailers March 22.
The Shoe Surgeon Miami Heat Air Jordan 1 Sweepstakes footwear Twitter Vice White Pink Teal South Beach
The Shoe Surgeon is back with another special rendition of the Air Jordan 1. Inspired by the Miami Heat‘s “City Edition” uniforms, the white-based sneaker is complemented by a South Beach aesthetic thanks to its pink and teal detailing throughout.

The custom goes under the moniker of “Vice” and incorporates premium leather along the entire upper. Further detailing is “Miami” being added to its translucent outsole in addition to a special tongue tab that’s swapped from your traditional branding found on the Air Jordan 1.

With only five pairs made, The Shoe Surgeon has joined forces with the Miami Heat to give away four pairs to fans via a Twitter sweepstakes between February 19 and March 8. Take a look at the imagery above and let us know what drops you’re looking forward to this weekend.
