Heralded as one of the most sought after Air Max 1 colorways ever released, Nike is gearing to release a “2.0” of sorts to its highly popular atmos-collaborated “Curry” model from 2003.

While the original is noticeably different in terms of materials and shades, the nicknamed “Curry 2.0” will secure a portion of the OG’s aesthetics, with the classic AM1 serving as a base. Gone are the tonal light brown palettes, but in its place is a healthy mix of brown and orange, playing well with the white upper’s mesh. A white midsole a complemented by a brown outsole — in stark contrast to the original’s safer black outsole. Lastly, the OG blue found at the top eyelet is absent and replaced with a matching curry brown to create a synergy with the overall color scheme.

Bear in mind that a retro version of the “Curry” is rumored to release, but stay tuned for a release date on these alternatives if they suit you.

Nike continues to adorn its popular Air Max Plus silhouette in a striking array of renditions. The latest makeup titled “Before the Bite” is perhaps the most menacing one yet. The low-top sneaker boasts black and white options alongside eye-catching, jagged line motifs swathed across their respective uppers. Not to mention, the tongue tags boast circle graphics appearing to bite down on the iconic Swoosh logo. To finish it off, reflective detailing is equipped throughout the shoe for a dramatic effect when worn in dim lighting.

Peep both colorways above and expect an official release this March 12 at select retailers such as Foot Locker.
