Nike Air Footscape Magista SP Collection

Nike Air Footscape Magista SP Collection
A First Look at the Nike Air Footscape Magista SP
With the title “Redefinition Reborn,” Nike officially unveils the Air Footscape Magista SP collection. After yesterday’s premiere of the tonal black version, today we deliver the full color range and details surrounding this hybrid model.
The Magista soccer boot and its Flyknit construction completely changed the concept of how boots looked and performed on-pitch. “The Magista was designed for the creative playmaker on the pitch — one who operates in tight spaces and wants a boot that works as an extension of the foot,” says Nike Senior Footwear Design Director Nathan VanHook. “We looked to bring that same fit and feel to the Air Footscape Magista. Everyone wants product that moves with the foot and feels almost like you aren’t wearing anything.”
A sock-like sensation is achieved primarily through the Flyknit technology, seamlessly integrating areas of breathability, flexibility and support where they’re needed most, while also reducing waste in the manufacturing process. Although free of the NIKESKIN that provides weather protection in the boot, the tonal Swoosh logo is constructed with this protective material for strictly aesthetic purposes. In addition, the shoe’s Flyknit upper features the same deep texture that is a signature element of the Magista soccer boot. Rounding this silhouette out is a leather heel counter and the natural ride of Nike’s Air Footscape Freemotion tooling with an encapsulated Air unit in its heel.
The Nike Air Footscape Magista SP will be available in select NikeLab retailers and on Nike.com/NikeLab in Western Europe, China and Japan beginning January 22, with February 15 as the North American release date.
